Set it at maximum, 1k, for the first time and then go down to the optimum value. In the meantime looking at the current bias through the emitter resistor of the power transistor.

Hi guys, I'm almost done. At position R59 I put 2W -10R (dimensionally fits better than 3W resistor). Now I'm not sure if 2W will be enough or replace with 3W?

For music is ok, for high frequencies tests maybe not.

1 channel of SARA2016 amplifier finished, just cut out 1 large KERAFOL pad under 3x TO264. I'll hopefully get to the final setup over the weekend!
I'm curious about his big sound 🙂

I am also working on a triamping project with 3 SARA 2016 amplifiers, it took some time until I found the same housings for amplifiers and active crossover and tone correcting preamplifier (what you see in the pictures are only empty housings where the modules will be mounted)

2sc5200/2sa1943 for example. Any power transistor with fT=30Mhz.

Friends I have successfully completed the second module of SARA2016. I am toying with the idea of making 4 monoblocks with these modules and fitting each with a 600W toroidal transformer and 88,000uF filtering. I'm thinking about plugging in a BI-AMP, ...I just don't know if such an investment to minimally improve the sound is worth it. What do you think about wiring a BI-AMP? 🤔

Bi-amping is a toy for a big boys. It is the top of the high-end audio systems. If you have the money, go for bi-amping.

HRDSTL - you don't need an 88000 uF filter, for this amplifier, I installed 2 Mundorf 47000 uF capacitors, because I have only one source, not two, for 4 Scanspeak 22W/8851T speakers​

I did some tests on a 15 inch horn and driver, with this SARA 2016 amplifier, and of course on the station with lamps,,,,,,, the surprise from the SARA 2016 amplifier

Can you explain what was the surprise? I see only some photos with some tube amplifiers unpowered and the 15 inch horn.

surprise, as you can see everyone listens with class A amplifiers with horns, but the SARA 2016 amplifier of course has a high damping factor that many amplifiers do not have, and the music is controlled very well by this amplifier.
