Sennheiser 590, HD-25 II, PC-100 and some ancient Koss (can't remember the model). Sennheiser 600's will be ordered for this and my 590's and Szekeres will be retired.
Can do all those cans no problemo. The one that uses it in line preamp duty only (at 4xGain driving the power amp for his Eminent Technology inefficient large magnetostatic panel speakers) listened to it first time over headphones (HD-600s) yesterday and he commented very positively, will also add a phones socket to his build he says. He had built a boatload of different DIY preamps both SS & tube in his hobbyist career, so keeping it for so long in his rack is a good sign. Few days ago a former neighbor came around visiting and saw it so he came back the next day with his AKG K701s saying he wanted to know if he will ever manage to really like them. He has a Benchmark DAC1 as headphones amp. He had left liking them LOL 😀

GB STATUS
I will be starting a GB thread shortly for it and the DCSTB board.
I will add a link to my signature and add these into another GB since I am mostly out of the other boards as well. Some people may want to try this with a BIB board. I on the other hand want to try a DCB1 with a the DCSTB to see how it sounds 🙂 Keep on exploring.
Count me in if a GB goes ahead.

We have an unorthodox guy here. 😀
You would need to jumper four out of ten DCSTB Leds bringing it down near the +/-10V DCB1 spec by the way. Maybe in-between ones to look nice. 🙂

Can't wait for the GB.
Hope that there is kits available as well.
It will be a transistor kit option (with appropriate matching) and a full kit option.
how about selector pcb
I already have a number of those hanging about already.

It is meant to be called In-Select, but I have i-everything in the brain, so I called the thread I-Select purely by accident 🙂
My DCG3 built now with 2 nos +/-17.6V BIBs for true double mono. More refine, smoother, better separation and a wider/deeper soundstage is the initial impression.
Good to know Tham!
No problem then with C6, C7 =100uF and the BiBs?
Two-wire, if I see correctly.
Did you set the CCS asymmetrically for V+ and V- as suggested by Salas?

That's nice. For double mono PSUs I had only listened with the DCSTB voltage stabilized cap multiplier PSU for size and thermal economy. So including LDR attenuators you have the most intricate DCG3 beta build in DIY town 🙂
It can be done capacitor coupled output too but I don't recommend it. Everything is audible, very simple signal path, very fast circuit. Couplers spoil it.

guys, V George,
how do you find K73-16
do you recommend It
sorry for off topic
The DCG3 is better without. I put it because I did not had the parts for servo.
Good cap for it's price, but not a rival for the likes of Mundorf etc.

I tried them in my BA3 pre and didnt much care for them. Lack of space was my first impression; and I had burned them in for two days prior to installing.
