Hello,
Finally, we tried (Oneoclock and me) the superegulator mod. From the measure view, the results are huge (Very low impedance), but our surprise "subjetive point of view" is that we can hear this upgrade and is really big achievement (soundwise).
I our oppinion is a must, very clean highs like the mod 1, plus a deep bass full of details, much more equilibrated.
Is the best DAC that we heard until this moment
We are very happy :-D
You mean the mod described in the post number 4101? With transistors?
Can some photos?

This mod definitely cleans up the bass. I've done it with D882/B772 NPN/PNP SOT-89 pairs. The collector tab solders conveniently onto the cap from the reference source. (use different sides per -/+ vref as in pic)
The emitter and collector pins can be soldered where the old series resistor was, no need so solder straight to the opamp, its a tight space.
Because I run balanced and so far only did one side (left), I can swap and tell the difference. The other side with original config seems to have more muddier bass.

I want to put 100uf polymer on the top of board, neer clock, like you towers but where i must solder negative leg of polymer? Please paint it on your towers.
I don't know anymore but you can check it very easy with a multimeter.
I have check it already. Like we all see beter power suply= beter sound so why any body use something like ideal diode bridge LT4320 ? Beter then any bridge and diode, cleaner power suply.

Yes, this mod
Yes. This is easier to do.The emitter and collector pins can be soldered where the old series resistor was, no need so solder straight to the opamp, its a tight space.

Couple questions to oneclock.
1. Like upper have you add some capacitor to transitors? For now i have added 4x470uf
2. Have you disoldered orginal 5v 7xL05 stabilizers?
3. I ve i have soekris v2 i can do this mod same like in pictures?
Thank you!

Yes. This is easier to do.

Sorry, I am really an idiot on electronic, but may I ask "open" means to cut a hole on the board or just remove the smd fROM the location?
Thanks
Just remove smd!
Red short for the sense resistor is not necessary, mentioned earlier in #4115 post

I have 16x1000uF 0.007 ESR like Hifiduino.Couple questions to oneclock.

I don´t disoldered original 5v 7xL05 stabilizers.
I haven't V2. It will be similar.
I'm sorry. I modify the drawing for the Short not appear.Just remove smd!

I have 16x680uf like hifiduo and yesterday added 4x 470uf polymer to 47uf ceramics. What to do which added 470uf when we put BC'S to our board?
I have forget, i have added 2x 100uf polymer to capacitorf on board neer 5v stabilzer, 470uf added nera clock and 470uf added on top of J9 Holes
So dont disoldered A68 resitor ?

http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/vend...e-r-2r-sign-magnitude-24-bit-384-khz-299.html same mod and there is capacitors wth transistors. But we have not +-4 vdc but 3.6vdc in your mod oneclock we have drop voltage? If yes it is lower output level from raw out? or we stil have 1.4v rms raw output?
