Thank you everyone! This is a good amount of interest in this speaker protection circuit. We have 30 pre-orders so far and so that reduces my count to 70. I will place the order for production shortly. The BOM needs to be ordered and that takes about 2 weeks. Then they will build a "first article" for testing to verify everything is good.
Original board with dual mono power supply
Hi, I need a bit of help here please. I'm probably going to make a dual mono power supply for my quad 405. I'm going to use the original boards, is there a circuit to power these boards with a dual mono supply? I have made up a small board to power these (taken from this blog) and it works perfectly - instant speaker disconnect, but I guess this wont function correctly with a dual mono supply.

Dual mono is not an issue. I am powering both of my SSR’s from one of the secondaries of one of the two trafos. You can make two small low capacitance PSU boards and power each from the secondary of each trafo and it should work fine. I was lazy and tried powering both from a single supply and it worked fine - no noise or ground loop hum. If there was a ground loop, I would have had to resort to dual small low capacitance PSU boards.
I have an update from the manufacturing house. The PCBs are in production and will be completed by the 11th. Ordering of the BOM is taking some time as some items take longer to get in. Worst case scenario is that they will be completed by end of January. I am hoping sooner of the parts get in quickly.
