I do have a background in aerospace ...and an interest in machining. I made all the drawings and built almost everything myself. Bought the raw aluminum and copper at a metal supplier. But I had to have the faceplate and all the numerous holes on the top plate done at a machine shop (could have done the holes myself but it would have taken forever...wouldn't cut it with WAF factor !!!).

Of course had the engraving done also. About 300$ for both machining and engraving. Not cheap but still accessible.

Thanks for the link Teti. I saw lots of pics of the amps' inside. Impressive, really. Again, outstanding work. If your amps sound half as good as they look, they should be in a different league.
