No reason to change...Look at McIntosh! Do your thing and have fun
I tell myself they represent my "house look"
Was thinking about this last night. Of course, nothing wrong with your "house look" and it likely could prove to be an advantage: you are familiar with the builds and can get them done faster if you've attempted them before. I'm still working on a BA2018, and it's admittedly taken me almost a year because I keep dreaming up ideas that are one-off ideas I don't want to be without. So if you can whip up new builds at twice my rate (or more!) then kudos to you! 👍
For me, figuring out the arrangement of components in the chassis, designing the panels and building (i.e., the journey) is as engaging as enjoying the end result. I'm rarely in a rush to complete my projects. The advantages for me in reusing design elements are that I like the look and they reduce the risk that my panel designs have flaws (there have been two projects over the years where I discovered annoying design flaws after receiving panels back from Front Panel Express, which was both annoying and costly to correct). While I strive to always build something different, relying on tried and true elements gives me comfort.
That said, I'm looking forward to seeing photos of your BA2018. I suspect it's going to be something special.

The Singing Bush, adding to my plethora of amp builds.
Modushop 5U, custom faceplate. Audio circuit by ZM, PSU by R. Thatcher. Choke loaded dual mono supplies in an enormous chassis weighing 50 ibs. It’s huge in person. Temp wise, it’s a 4-5 second amp.
Now I know why the SIT is special. It’s glorious sounding.

I use to build these things but I just buy them now…..@ggetzoff
Which Soft Start are you using in your Singing Bush build?
Thanks.
