Tested 1 subwoofer today with very good results. will hook up the 2nd enclosure another day, need to make space.. i will have these in my home theater when it is ready for it. i will also use minidsp with mic and REW to check out what happend.

2nd subwoofer installed.. these plays amazing, but i am not going high volume yet, i will just let them play many hours of music since they are new and i will prepare my Ht room for the subs..

I didnt put any damping stuff inside either.. not sure yet if it nessesary for these drivers.
will try to meassure the subwoofer first in the livingroom with minidsp, mic and rew program.. i have not use the program before so will maybr take some time to adjust.. but seen some youtube videos allready.

So i got my mic today for the minidsp.. im new in to the Rew program but some hours after i meassure both sub each on same amp, mic distance from dustcap 0.5" it is same distance as xmax 1 way.. very identical curve on both subs. just test for fun[emoji16]

I have now moved out these 50kilos boxes where they will be in used and are allready ready to bang some Lf.
Picture of the curve is with and without 20hz 3db boost. anything else i did from listening position was to adjust the delay on each subwoofer. the subwoofer is designed to work best around from 40hz and down.. as i have tested in music and movie for now they really deliver very nice deep and clean bass..

Iv got a pretty flat curve last night but i need to change the scale so it is not lying to much.. this is 50db scale.. i need the 5db scale.. but i will see how i will find it first.

Ooupsii[emoji51] 2 x 5/8ohm original 1 owner xls that arrived to me today [emoji2] the sealed boxes followed with them, they are actually pretty good, the play deep detailed and nice. i will keep them, just fix them a bit out and inside, i guess about 20-27L internal volume each,.. So a pair og 2 x 12" original XLS showed up.. now i have 4 in the 8/5ohm version, 1 owner. the enclosures is ok, will do a finish on them later. also bought a pair of active oldschool amps as well from same owner [emoji2]

My plan is to run 4 of the 12" in my livingroom cinema, maybe will test them in front first, and rear after.. right now im using 2 front and a 15" Ultimax in a huge enclosure from behind. View attachment 890802View attachment 890804View attachment 890803

So testing the new 2x 12" and the 2x 10" (behind the 12's) from my messy stereo room with the Umik-1 from listening possition. Green line is last measurement after some fase adjust and gain increase.
