Dear David, could you please re-spell it in readable English?
Thx!

“Our drivers are more expensive than Mark audio’s hobbyist ones because they are hand made for us in relatively small quantities. We have a special voice coil. Um, and then when they come to us, we test them, we pair them, we run them in for 360 hours, then we test them again. And then we test them again in the (?). When you receive them, they are already up playing (?)…. A mark audio driver will work in them. I mean it will work, but it won’t sound like a sibelius loudspeaker."

Honestly, if I could swing them, I would definitely recommend the Sibelius. The amount of love, years of tweaking, product development, and maybe 1/4 of the money goes back into developing musicians, let alone the gorgeous cabinet . My main issue is if I could stop listening to rock and 80's dance music...... I need an 8" minimum for my music/levels/listening distance.....

You see my "daily driver" loudspeakers in my avatar, yet I have a sweet spot for full range drivers also !!!!!!

But I am moving, so the big(ish) jbls are going upstairs for a far field setup, and I'm still unsure how close I will be sitting from the downstairs system used at night for music / movies.

Thanks all! , the others in my team disagree with any plans to ditch the Sibelius - categorised as an instrument for system tests and promotion, not for any party tricks to impress. Too much efforts into the evaluation and decision to buy this expensive item and besides my attempts to diy the Eikona failed 😞 In fact I have been challenged to show something better in future…

Here is the Sibelius, after 3 months of building and testing in Belgium. I can’t seem to see similarities with the cabinet plan that @Hondasnl was using, just looking at the pics. Not sure where he got the information?
