No. Just remove them if you can and put them back correctly. If I had had the Hakko 301 it would have been easy. But tried a manual desoldrer and the regulators had to be replaced. Either way it's a straightforward fix with no collateral issues.
Oops. Saw your second post. Too much heat removing them perhaps? Digikey has got them and they're not expensive but you'll hate waiting for them.
Interesting. Those critters are usually very hard to damage.Removed without visibly damaging them. But one or both appear to be dead.
Where can I buy the unpopulated circuit boards with power supply without the components?

PCB only - Look for files from the unofficial boards. Or perhaps somebody has extra of those pcb available. There appears to be 2 versions and both seem to work well.
Thank you very much for your information. I have searched and googled a lot, but unfortunately I haven't found anything.PCB only - Look for files from the unofficial boards. Or perhaps somebody has extra of those pcb available. There appears to be 2 versions and both seem to work well.
Member Algar_emi may have some pcb's left and member rhthatcher may have some of the power supplies. Gerber's are also supplied for many PS by searching the thread. Hope this helps you out
@rhthatcher
And if he wants a bare PSU board (maybe even a version with on-board regulators) where would he go?

Thank you, but without the circuit board it is useless.I have PSU kits WITHOUT the PCB. The PCB is coming with the DIYAudio kit.

Have been using Randy's FlexReg PCBs for all of my dual PSU builds and they will work fine with the P3. Some of us that have already built the stock kit version several times are interested in trying out premium designs (matched 2SK209s, etc.) for further builds. Should the PCBs be made available separately (like the BA2018) it would generate additional sales.
Would the UDP3 work for you? It seems like a darn good option. Or Randy's dual rail flexregs are another.

Ha! How could I forget FlexReg!?!?!? I guess that's what happens when typing a DIYAudio post while on a conf call in my day job...
If you want to run with regulators, my Flex Reg Dual Rail will work. Send me a PM.
Of course the UDP3 board is also an option.
The idea for this PCB is to provide a flexible dual-rail general-purpose regulated power supply for low-power audio projects (e.g. preamps, crossovers, etc.). The design goals for the board and power supply included:
- Compact with PCB mount transformer & optional connections for an external transformer
- 15 or 25VA Transformer Options
- Dual Rail Regulated DC power supply (Positive & Negative)
- Flexibility for using standard 78xx/79xx family of fixed regulators OR 317/337 adjustable regulators
- Able to fit in an off-the-shelf Hammond chassis OR into the 10x10 grid of a Modushop...
