place it in parallel

Two girls giggleing:

"That boy is wow handsome."
"Yaaa . . . "
"Do you know on which side boys carry the long lags?"
"Left~"
"Right~"
"No, left."
"No, no, no, right!"
"Want a bet~?"
"Really? ok ~ . . ."

The pot has three legs.
One at the end of the track.
The second one at the other end.
The third at the wiper.

Three legs . . . a confusion source for me ~ ^^

Many do the same, Sweating Bear ~ ^^
So, I always keep DMT near by . . .

Hi Choky,

Reading a paper about NTC themistors, I tried to get an answer
to my own question.

Fig. 1 shows a reasonable linear (not constant) resistance
network in between room temperature and about 75 degC. This
network would help to get the negative voltage slope to the
temperature to compensate for the temperature. In this example,
however, the overall network resistance might be too small for
me to get enough voltage drop across it.

In order to increase the overall network resistance, if required, I
might be allowed to insert a series resistor of Ra as shown in
Fig.2. and it is actually the same as illustrated in Fig.3. This is why
I am considering as shown in Fig.3.

I hope I'm going to the right direction.

Papa likes to tease children with sweet candies. He some times
gives only 50% and likes to see how the children fill in the
remaining 50% ~ ^^ Naughty Papa! Aren't you? ~ ^^

All plan done.
Remaining things are soldering, adjusting and listening ^^.

:darkside:

PS

Arrrg!! !!^"^!!
A man sent me 100x 2SJ108GR at 3.5times higher price, which
were different from my order. Forget price . . . I just wanted to
change them to 2SJ108 having no GR-mark, but in vain . . .
Dishonest MFker! How many I should trust in the area around me?
Tired . . .

I will get new from another trusty place within few days - both
2SK370 and 2SJ108. Hmm . . .

well..........pupu happens all the time..............
:bawling:

but-you really make my day with clever implementing "MFker".........:wave2s: :cuss:
you'll soon be in bin along with me ............;)

Nevertheless, you will probably like the sound.

Papa, I hate you. Sometimes, you are too modest.
You should have not added "probably" ~^^

Long story short.
My ZV5 with jfet inputs is playing music.
"Sweet Heart Like You", Guy Davis, in the clean dish mmm. . .
tastes good heehee . . . ^^.

The picture shows the single turn trim pots.
The next black ones are thermistors of 10 ohm/3A.
The second next smaller blacks are J310 and 2SJ108GR.
When I tested J310 with 10ohm Rs, the current was about
23.5mA. Comparably, the current through 2SJ108GR was about
4.5mA at the same test condition. Really odd complementary.
But, surprisingly, they well co-operate.

The adjustment of bias and the output offset was very easy.
The output offset sits down to the stable place very quick.
Quite different from the original ZV5 with this.

Thanks again, Papa ^^.
And, I will post some of details about the amp.
Oh, a new born child should have a name.
Do you think any of a nice name . . . ?

Yeah. Babo Zen is here as built ^^.

Few changes. R9 and R11 increased from 0.47 to 0.5 ohms.
I changed this not for sonical improvement, but to see the bias
current without any caculator. If I see 0.75V, the bias is 1.5A.
And, these resistors are wire-wound 5W grade.

When I adusted the bias with rhe single turn trimmers of R3
and R4, first I did not connect R9 and R11, i.e. they were open,
This was not to meet any trouble which could be possible with
excessive voltages across R3 and R4 even before any start of
adjustment. With R9 and R11 open, I adjusted R3 and R4 near
to 4V across them. Then, I soldered R9 and R11 for the final
adjustment of bias at 1.5A and the output offset at near zero.
And, I used two digital multi-testers to read the bais and the
offset at the same time.

For protection, two 9.1V zeners are added between the gate
and the source pins of mosfets in the form of back-to-back.
With these, the Vgs is limited to max +/-9V. Actually, I don't
need that much of Vgs, I might replace them with 6.8V zeners.

they're there more for statics protection case, so you can just leave it as is

hehe
I like that name-Dumb Zen :clown:

You know?
I'm sick and tired with JFET dealers here.
I did second order 100* Toshiba 2SK370 and
100*Toshiba 2SJ108.
But !!! but !!! but !!! received all wrong again.

I wonder whether they have any brain.
I want to dig their brains and want to eat up!!!
I will no more try to buy things here.
It's late but I have given up. I'm crying mad . . .

This is why I used J310 and 2SJ108GR.

Mr You,

Lloyds rules and regulations, section 1, paragraph 1:
For Safety of Life In Korea: ask a candle guy to send YouYou a few parts if you have trouble finding the proper ones.(389/109/170/74, or whatever you need)
Stop talking noodles, i'm on a diet and haven't had Vièt Nam/Thai noodles/Krab/chili soup in months.

hm........ to translate what crazy dutchie sez in Shakespeare like slang:

"shoot me with PM and I'll send ya few of zillion jfets I stashed in last 100 yrs; you deserve that with your funny chokylike attitude".

successful Babelfishing?

:devilr:

Choke,

Mr You is a collegue and former contact of my college fraternity.
Mr You very strange guy, he seems to like the wax candles the fraternity gave him, instead of demanding the traditional bottle of William Froude labelled headache gin.
If Mr You every visits this place he'd better bring noodles instead of stinking candles, or else......

Choky and Jacco,

I always remeber Sigaporean outdoor fish restaurrants.

You are right. I meet many nice people around.
Don't worry, be relaxed. The anger just kills me.

And, the nice sound of Babo Zen cleans up my dirty-self.
Just listening to "Belly Button Window", Ana Popovic,
included in Blue haze CD with songs of Jimmi Hendrix.

Ahh. I want to forget diy for a while.
I was too much listening to Papa's teasing.
I was reading books enugh to my headache.

I would call the candle guy later. Thanks, Jacco.
At the moment, The thing I need is a candle light into
the wave of music ^^.

:darkside:

PS

Jacco,
I will drink the headache gin, sure if I have another chance soon
or later ^^. Next day, I will give approval stamps to all the
drawings with no comment ^^.
