Go to hell...

I am there almost constantly.

I know people who were annoyed with you question in the first place as that particular connection diagram has been posted a few times in diyaudio.com before, it is very obvious but with a tiny little bit of research you would have found what you needed before posting your question ....
So you did not even act like a diy and do a search through the various treads but you want it served on a platter (silver I presume??)

Sorry to have disturbed you in your little world.

Jean-Pierre

Believe me, as soon as you start making your own lcd panel and your own ohp , I will truly consider you a diyer.

Jean

:devilr:HaHa you dare question me being a Diyer?

I for one don't like the idea of asking a question on how to build something and having a "sales man" trying to sell you something!
Like i said Diy not buy Diy!

As for searching how do you think i found this thread?

talking about hell, God knows ive tried, but...

...i couldn't !!!
So, i need the 26pin to 15pin cable from my computer to QA-1800 panel, so you still have it in stock?

we research, we try to create and most of the times we CREATE! now, we dont usually go to the forest and chop some trees down to get the wood, or we dont melt sand to do LCDs, or chips, (although i know some of us, they do it, lol) we just put some elements together, and then we PRAY, or at least hold ourselves tight to see if it works, to see if our calculations were right, and enjoy, thats our PARTIAL finish line, why? because at that point, we start all over again, why? because we are DIYers, because its fun, it doesnt matter where you get your ingredients from!

lets have fun!

and i need that Element-Ingredient-Cable badly, lol

can you CREATE it for me Uvodee, so i can continue DIYing?

my email address juamir2@yahoo.com
Cheers!

Appollo Q2 Power Pinouts

Hope this helps on your Q2 Power Issues. The Q2 really does present a descent picture. I know everyone is in love with all these DIY Projectors (Awesome results) I just love the simplicity of these Projection Panels. I've owned and sold all kinds for the Last two years. The QA-2500 is still my favorite.

If anyone needs the Appollo Pinout schem - Let me know.

Is uvodee still selling cables?

Anybody know if uvodee still selling cables? I have a Sharp QA-1650 that came without and he said he was making them. I emailed him at jpsche@hotmail.com yesterday but so far no reply. If he isn't, does anybody know another source that costs about the same? According to my researches it would cost about the same to buy the parts and have them shipped to me, so I'd just as soon get a cable from someone who's built a couple already...

I tried to build one using a standard VGA to 9pin cable and followed the pinout listed. Actually what I did was cut the 9 pin end off and solder some pins onto the ends (the 9 pin pins were too large to fit) used a multimeter to test resistance when it read none or as low as it will read to identify the wires they were easy to check but there is one that does not seem to connect to anything. Anyway, the display darkens and the menu will come up (it wouldn't before) but no display. I know that it can display since 'no signal' and the menu show fine. I don't plan to spend any more money on it since it's just a 350 I planned to use to test my optics.

Anybody got any ideas?

Thanks

What setup did you try building the cable for, Sharp or Proxima? I assume you are meaning Proxima since that is what I posted. Try building it with a standard VGA extension cable. Works out nicely that way. All else fails, I can hook you up, no matter if it's Sharp or Proxima.

skywayflies 2

I used the pinout from page 5 of this thread that is supposed to be for sharp panels (image below). I think that using a regular cable is a great idea, just didn't want to ruin a good cable. (kinda silly since I live around the corner from a thrift store and can get them for $2) If I get a decent panel and it needs a cable then you're the first one I'd get ahold of, but this thing is passive matrix and low color so not going to do much. It has a really cool fan though that Im going to rob for my diy setup.

thanks again
