at one time i had found a cable just like the ones you guys need for $9.99. i should try and find the link again.
when i get home, i can test the pinout with my multimeter and see if its correct. i have a few working cables, and some adapters even.

all is not lost. Although I'm sure you will get a cable soon enough you could use your panel without the cable. Buy a remote control that can learn. Then use a sharp remote point it at it and have it learn the switching to video command.

Thanks for the missing link in the pinout I'm going to have to build a cable. What models of infocus panels do you have?
Cowan
That would be awsome to get a cable for 10$. Do you have a sharp panel?

i dont have sharp, i have a good old spectra c.
i think the cables are the same, i gave one of my converters to a friend, and he had a sharp, and a 3m, and worked on both.
i think its a universal thing. but when i get home from work (yes, wasting time at work now), ill try and confirm the pinout, so we will at least know it works for infocus too.
plus, i get a chance to play with the new multimeter. its like $500, but got it for $60 in perfect condition. it does everything.

By Sharp remote im guessing you mean the sharp panel one, which I also dont have 🙁
Does anyone know where I could pick this up (other than from sharp)?
I think I will get the Elmo dlx solar 305 lumens
OR a Dukane 668 (both 7300 lumens)
Does anyone have one of these models and know which would be the better buy?
On average how loud are they (louder than a AMD 1.5 power supply?
As always thx for the help in advance 😀

Having problems with mine. When I plug it in it says computer on the panel but I get no image. Just a black screen could be my cable but I have checked it with a multimeter. Good luck with yours.
Checked my cable with my multimeter several more times. I found one bad connection which I fixed. Plugged cable into panel still no dice. Maybe infocus uses a special pinout different from others. Cowan the pinout of the adapter or cable would be cool. Do you have a link to the site with the cables/adapters or wish to sell some of them?
No 🙁 still waiting for a sharp pinout. As I can't get the other to work. Possibly panel has problems but I highly doubt it.
Hi Guys,
I have a Sharp QA 1100 that seems to have the extended three-row connector. I also have the manual with its pinout.
Let me know if this is what you are looking for, as it is a pain to connect up my scanner. 🙁
Bill.

Woneill although it may be a pain to hook up the scanner this is excatly what we are looking for. Or if its simple enough just type in the pinout. Pretty please 🙂 .
Okey dokey, I'll try and get it going tomorrow night (it's late tonight) - I have never used the scanner since upgrading from Win98 to Win2k - the drivers should be fun...
Alternatively, email me with a fax address, and I can send it from work tomorrow morning.

The mailman didn't appear to like me... 🙁
I never received anything, and never got a reply from the email I tried to send you.
