I based this design on the FPD files available from NwAvGuy's site, and had a couple made for myself after losing complete confidence in BF's ability to deliver. Each panel cost just over US$21 plus freight (freight was a killer on this order because I only bought 2 panels).
I'm happy to send the FPD file through to anyone who's interested.
That would be great if we need it, I didn't want to have to go through the process of designing one and had no luck getting a copy of the FPD design files from the organisers of the other panel GB, I think this was just a matter of them being far too busy at the time trying to distribute their HUGE stack of orders.
Pending the appearance of any panels from BF my idea was that I would gauge interest and get a single package sent over and then distribute locally. Depending on the size of the order I would cover the costs upfront and only collect money after I receive them and they're ready for distribution. If BF's panel is 'good enough' for most then I wouldn't worry about it obviously. Offer would only be open to those involved in this GB since I don't have the time or interest in doing this sort of thing on a long term basis.
Here's the FPD file used to create my panels

Thanks heaps for that!
How was the fit with your panels? Any dramas getting the alignment of the buttons/sockets/screw holes etc?
I will see about getting a quote sorted out as soon as we decide that it is necessary (which realistically won't be long after receiving the panels from BF, if they actually come this week).
I'm procrastinating because my power amp and minidsp aren't friends at the moment
@fordgtlover thanks for confirming that.
Anyway, just so everyone has some numbers in mind if we end up looking for better panels.
Turns out you can get prices directly from FPE express software.
20% discount ($USD16.84ea) for 10 - 19 panels;
30% discount for more than 20 panels ($USD14.74ea).
Roughly $USD80 - 90 for international postage to Aus which doesn't change much depending on size of order. Then postage within australia hopefully at not much more than cost of a normal envelope.

If you email FPE directly you should be able to get a better deal on postage. They gave me an option of delivery via USPS that doesn't appear in their software. Delivery does take longer, though.

delivery cannot take as much patience as it has already.... hell seamail would have been quicker
I'm in for 2 maybe 3 panels depending on what rocks up from BF including the extra kit I bought. Surely this saga will be finished by the end of the month.
How many amps are now up and running? I've been stuck on daddy duties post Christmas and haven't had chance to get in the shed let alone arc up the soldering iron.
Hopefully the ODA group buy for oz will be a lot different!

Hi guys,
Sorry to hear that you have been having trouble with the GB. I am currently in Brisbane, but ordered my O2 stuff from jokener (worldwide group buy). No idea when that will be shipped, but we'll see.
I was too late for the front panel GB, but you will find my name in the thread asking if a new GB is planned. None that I know of, so far.
If you do end up doing a Aussie GB for front panels, count me in for 1 panel for a B2 enclosure.
I hope everyone gets all the parts they ordered!

@fordgtlover; Jack received! It arrived yesterday. Thank you.
@FREDtheDOG; The 4556ADs arrived yesterday. Thank you.
I wonder if he's also found my "spare" missing components (can't do sht without 'em.)
Anyone here know where I can get JRC 2903D & JRC 2068D other than mouser? I need two of each... then I should have three full parts kits.
If looking for JRC parts also try searching with NJM prefix, you might get lucky.
As FREDtheDOG suggested, the JRC2903 is a LM2903 clone, and LM2903 can be had locally from RS or element14. Based on their specs i can't see why the LM2903 wouldn't be suitable, but I'm not going to completely exclude that possiblity.
As for the gain stage opamp, I'd just grab some LM4562s for there. A fairly expensive substitution, but a lot cheaper than shipping the standard part from mouser. The extra expense might not be such a big deal, as 2x LM2093 and 2x LM4562 only come to $12 pre gst from element14 so only just top their $10 minimum order value.
If you're not sure about the part substitutions, perhaps check with rocket scientist.
I'm going to put through an element14 order tomorrow morning, so i'm happy to send you one of JRC2903 and JRC2068 that i've got here, and a 2nd set of substituted opamps, but you'll need to get back to me within 24hours. (i'll check this thread and my PMs prior to ordering)
Don't worry about the cost, my buy 😉
I don't know much about string but I do know my patience has long worn thin for BF and my temper now quite short.
Wellll it is Tuesday tomorrow, and if my memory serves me correct that was the date we decided to move forward with a small claims action if no panels show up, right?
thats correct. i think hochopeper has all the documentation prepared, how you guys can share it and make sure all are on the same page apart from on the thread i dont know?
@tamu; Thanks for the offer. Much appreciated. However, if you'll read a few posts above...
@AussieAmpBloke; I'm not stupid enough to pass up an offer like this. However, I must insist that you at least consider charging me for the kindness. I'm really not used to people being this damn nice.
You're all overwhelming my cold reptilian ability to resist catching a case of the warm and fuzzies, you monsters.
Edit: Also, if my panels don't arrive... I'd like to be in on the panel buy.
