exact footprint, that type (length) is more than good enough
use highest/longest you can find, if you're Chicken, as ZM

A quick check at Mouser shows the 984-ATS-PCB1014 will fit.
AH!! So close enough and not exact is cool. The boards are so compact i was thinking the tolerance was every small. Thanks yo

Man i was the kid that jumped off roofs into pools so no worries, there’s no chicken here 😀
Thanks for the insight dude
There are a lot of other heat sinks with that footprint as well. As ZM states, buy the highest/longest ones you can find.
Squarewave
I applied square waves at 1k and 10k. I didn't see any ringing, but the leading edge was rounded. This could be a function of the cheap signal generator I'm using. If anyone else is inclined to check this out, I'd be glad of that.
NP original FE board: I also tested the board with a good arbitrary function generator. Also observed your results. At the beginning I thought it was related to the ground, however it did not matter how it was connected relative to the ground. Finally I ended with the T open. but still no a reasonable squarewave was obtained. It does not happen under a sinewave. Will post some pics when i figure out how to take pics from by computer monitor.
Any adviced is greatly appreciated.

check sig. gene alone with scope, then you'll know what's going in DUT
T pads must be closed/shorted for proper operation
there goes thermal switch on heatsink, NC (normally closed)
say 65-70C

The Prt Scn (print screen) key is your friend. Alternatively, your smartphone will do.
you either need to feed FE with signal in balanced way ( both inputs, XLR) or SE ( one input, RCA, other input grounded)
you ought to need that

you ought to need that

you know old rule - Garbage in, Garbage out
as long Garbage at your DUT output is same as Garbage in, you're good
and with Garbage signal, you can't look for anything more precise (leading edge etc.)

As usual, it does not pay to buy the cheapest piece of test gear going, remember the old adage - you only get what you pay for these days.
I (also) own and use (sometimes) the cheapest (<$5) function generator this side of the galaxy; and it's by far not as garbagy as this. Maybe the scope?
Squarewave
I have reduce the noise, better grounding as you can see from the pic. You can see the edge rounding up better now. 10k squarewave. The arbitrary generator is an afg-2105 calibrated against a Keysigth Arbritrary Wave generator. However, the scope is a cheapo pc install in my pc (Noisy). However for future analysis I will bring home acalibrated tektronik 300 mhz which is available.

The AFG-2105 should be fine, it will be interesting to see what a Tek 300Mhz real scope shows compared to your PC scope.
looking at these pics, you don't need scope for rest of build
besides - no porn, no glory;
how do we know that you're measuring real FE?

btw
this FE will transform any of your old Hafler in proper beast
realized that realizing that I have cleaned (inside) Hitachi HMA-6500, as possible radio/tv/summer amp for living room, waiting for resurection .......
anyone with spare pair of small FE pcb, for poor soul ?
