maybe turntables will no longer be needed in the future, starting with 78rpm....

A buffered mm....
And even than 100k output impedance mm... 🙂
Edit: The doc says "Load resistance: >100kΩ" so... maybe it may be even more?
Also: You would think that an item like this is created to interfec the MC-cart with your MM-preamp?

Hi,
As a side note, today I've been to the analog-forum in Krefeld/Germany, an audio-gear show for analogue-junkies.
The breathtaking Transcriptr Reference turntable (Loricraft) was accompanied with Süßkind electronics (and I believe the speakers where from Joachim as well).
Subjectivly, for me, it was best of show!

Do not forget my amplifier (on Sunday) 🙂
The speaker was not my design. I have consulted though on the project concerning passive parts and wiring. The back firing AMT tweeter is based on my research about the G-Pole.
You can read about this in Jan Diddens Linear Audio.
I designed Martinas Phono Stage ( Primal Scream ) and Preamp ( Resurrection ). I also contributed to the Power Amp ( Ribbon Bow ) that played on the first day. On sunday it was Frans Power Amp.

We have build two prototypes of the Zion and they work just fine. We have the circuit diagram ready. Actually we want to test two versions : One with INAs and the other with Frans Hyper Balanced circuit. Still PCBs have to be made but we are on it.
