You think that might be worth it?
Looks a bit like

MEITNER AT-2 PLATTERLESS TURNTABLE
There was a time when people used 3 watch crowns under the label and a clamp to raise the record off the platter... can't remember who started that.
Breitling, Corum, Blancpain, so many choices

MEITNER AT-2 PLATTERLESS TURNTABLE
Overlooked by most, the twelve inch diameter of the typical record makes it an increasingly ideal half-wave coupler of acoustic energy from the lower mid-range up, and improving as the frequency rises. The record naturally dissipates vibrations, particularly at the levels and frequencies that they occur, to air. Thus air becomes the absorbent "platter", the only substance that does not give energy back to the record. The reproduction of music is open, dynamic, remarkably natural. The AT-2 has become a collector's item.

The platterless concept by Meitner would render a 200 gram record as a deficiency since it has storage potential

It's about constant mechanical impedance and energy reflection back to the stylus from material mismatches.
I,m fairly certain with the forces involved that the unsupported vinyl is bending underneath the stylus
That's the reasoning behind a vacuum acrylic platter for support and similar materials to sink to and hopefully disapate away without reflection
Theirs no platter flywheel mass to smooth rotation also
I remember this table and it didn't last very long

Here are a couple of pics of totally differing designs (by Be Yamamura) from the same era:
The first is an example of a minimal support whilst the second is max. support with the massive carbon and bronze platter floating on air with no contact with any other part other than the string drive and the stylus!
EDIT:
the jpg is poor so I have added another pic showing the carbon TT with a Morisiani unipivot arm.

I wonder how many hours before the vertical TT bearing goes out?
Although a flawed concept,
this is a different visual experience that you can almost forgive on price alone.

Today i got this message :
Analog Devices and Linear Technology to Combine and Create High Performance Analog Leader
Analog Devices and Linear Technology to Combine and Create High Performance Analog Leader
after power on I got one of the channels stuck at -15v so I removed the opamp and replaced it.
The offset started to center.... I went for a bike ride with my wife and when I came back the offset was around 4mv
Connected it to the bench system (rega p3 / benz ace M / gainwire / assemblage power amp / yamaha 1000 speakers)
Fingers crossed..... no noise on the speakers..... now listening to fleetwood mac live with great pleasure....
