I was thinking the 12.2 alone on Phy. Gues i did not realize its limitations. I am lookig at the Delta ProA 15" to go with aN15. Guess i could go ahead and get them in anticipation. MY 12.2 have been sitting here for 3 weeks untouched. Now Melon is screwing with my head again with his top secret,secret. I think he is losing it from lack of sleep😀

I can't give any recommendation based on sound quality yet because I have not heard them. But I am thinking of purchasing some.

I use the MCM woofers all the time. You cant beat 'em. There's also quantity pricing on 4 or more and promo codes to save an additional 15%. They are a nice, well made cast frame driver. I have 6 of the 10's right now. I've heard the 15 and it sounds very good on the low end... very little mid that rolls off nicely and naturally.

it sounds as if you have given up hope that the 12.2's will be good enough ? - I have been looking at those drivers, I thought that on paper at least, they look really good and might offer some benefits over the AN15. The Alpair's are without whizzers for starters and their cones appear more refined, plus size-wize they look to be more flexible for enclosure options.

Not at all. I think most folks would be surprised if they heard the MA drivers. I am actually quite excited, as Dave and others say they image as well as the 7.3's. We will see. The 7.3's are addictive. Listen to them for a while, and all of the sudden, everything else sounds cloudy. MArk is the only person I know talking about microresonances. I wish he would do a big Alnico verson. Oh well. I know the paper 12.2 probably will not have the level of clarity of the 7.3's, but the dynamics should improve. May just out them in an OB tomorrow and have a listen crossed with my WoofEE.
I wouldn't buy woofers from mcm. My friend here at work got some 12's and had someone measure them. The qts was supposed to be around .4, instead it was over 1. He's upset because they are useless except for open baffle.

I am happy to be the guinea pig and measure them.
Looking at the size of the magnet I don't think they could be that bad. Maybe Qts around 0.6 to 0.7 but not higher
My 10's came in at .60 Today they measure .53 after break-in
