Maya R2R Advanced Volume controller

Tibi, is my controller the Bluetooth version? Also, is there an optimal grounding scheme. I still have hum when using just the controller and no gain stage behind it. I have it grounded as in your picture. Even tried ground lift circuit

Yes, it is with bluetooth. Pin is 1234. Android app is available from vicol audio : MAYA - your ultimate volume-controller
Hum can be induced by components placement, cabling, emi, oscillations etc. Can you provide some detailed pictures with your setup ?

Regards,
Tibi

My phone and tablet are Apple so presumably the Bluetooth app won't work on them -?
Is the Apple remote the one for TV2 / TV3 ? Do I need to get a proper Apple one or will one of the Chinese copies be ok?

Sorry for late replay.
For the time been only Android. Apple may come if interest is high enough to cover some costs. Apple world is not free.
On infrared side, Apple make use of NEC protocol. As long your remote support NEC protocol will work.

Anyone could provide the additional space requirements for that Maya setup with a BPBP ?
Just have semi-finished 2 of those pre amps and looking into that specific pot replacement option to enable remote control and then some. Right now have planned (and bought already) to use a couple of rather small open frame Meanwell SMPS in a symmetrical configuration (+15.5VDC) - 0 - (-15.5VDC) for the PSU and need to calculate the case size and PCB arrangement, if this is the way to go. The PSUs are specified for max 1A output feeding a pair of +/- 12VDC Hypex regulators.
What are the additional power requirements for that Maya setup ? +5VDC (?) / max 1A enough for that Arduino board ? Anything else ?

Maya is not arduino and power requirements are between 6V to 9V at 2A for full operation (including relay board) and around 500mA for BPBP. You may power directly Maya controller with 5V@500mA after main 7805 regulator.
For BPBP integration you need a VoICB board designed by Hans Polak.
