Krell KSA 50 PCB

...first thank you for the answer!

i'm confused with this mk I and mk II .

if i'm not wrong you have the original mk-I and the pictures that you posted were referring to this.
...so...i don't know why you are attemping the mk-II version.

Do you have the board of this version?

what are the differences between the two?

...is the mk II based on the original electrical schematic?

another question.....is the picture below your name .... the original krell? i'm seeing the heatsink on the side of the amplifier.

If you have messenger...can you add my contaact so than i can clearify some things in real time?

my msn contact is : kyokoforever@virgilio.it

rabstg = Troy has no more parts kits or boards for sale.

He has one package left to mail for Al.

Troy is going to have to find a new user name since "rab"alais "st g"ermain is no longer valid as he is now divorced.

I guess I will need to write Al offline and bribe him a little... Hopefully my history will stay but the username will change to :

troystg

My alimony/support hurt too. But overall it was a small price to pay for the chance to be happy again. A lawyer suggested this way of looking at it: How much would you pay to have her rubbed out of your life? this just spreads that over a few years and you don't go to jail. Much better in the long run.

Troy, I also admire your positive outlook. Welcome the new troystg!

I have board parts, supply caps and chassis at this point. Still need trafos and all the rest to put them together. Its the little parts that get you, speaker posts, rca plugs, fuse holders, chassis wire all the sundries. I think I can be about ready to begin with one big order from Michael Percy and one for trafos. As long as my job hold out anyway, as things are pretty shaky here right now. So, its food before "room heater;" got to have some priorities. I've been slipping in one parts order a month to the budget, but the trafos are going to be a big chunk. I might need to build one amp for now and bank on the availablity of the same (likely Avel) trafos down the road. In time I am sure most of us will either blow up our power supplies or get something up and running.
