Hi Fix!
A question regarding the power transformer: Is it the H1000-031F you have been using for your KSA 100mkII clone ?
If yes, do you know if they still are available? From who? 🙄

hi,i recommend to Buy the wire and build your own transformer
its better, you wont have to deal with ..bad people

Yes, I could do that if............
I had the winding machine
Had the time to do it
And I only needed one transformer (I need 6-8 transformers)
I have a electric motor step-control. I was thinking to slow down my drill-press enough to wind spool of wire. But, don't you need to wind completely inside and out circled plates? My Gosh, that would save tons of money even if copper is gold's little brother. I will wikipedia "transformers." Wonder if you can make toroidal trannies? I would put a bearing on the otherside of what even I would use as a spool to wind the wire on. So the drill press on one end and the bearing on the drill press vise. Yes, I am new to building power supplies.
Hmmmmmm...........
Spurite, her you can see how a toroidal winding machine looks like, pretty complicated I must say
🙁
Its for sale here:

Guys, sorry for making an off topic, I want to buy an original Krell but something in this ad just isn't right to me: Marktplaats.nl > krell KSA 100 - Audio, Tv en Foto - Versterkers en Receivers
The seller says it's the Mk2 version but it i've looked at some pics posted on page 10-15 and it looks like he is selling a KSA100Mk1 with Mk2 cover, am I right?
Is this verison any better than an old unbalanced version of the KSA80?

Well, I got the answer that i should go search on google for the pics....
Somehow, if you look closely at the pics you will see that even the 3 screws from the logo are missing...

Hi
I am certain it is a Mk2. The Mk1 did not have the speaker relays and soft-start relay which this unit clearly has.
