Well it could be square, long and thin, wide and flat, etc. So far I'm tending towards a square layout because that is best electrically, with the TO220 on the edge so it can be bent under the board for direct mount to heatsink or chassis, or left standing with a floating heatsink, or soldered flat with the board.

Should say instead: "... 15000uF." ???
