...and just the thing to start wet coal.caboose warm
I missed this... the point was the "singing". ZM was wondering why no singing yet.I don't get Kabuki Theater... Still gave like.
The second point was the name of the song: "My object all sublime"... aka "A Turbo Iron Transformer I shall achieve in time"....
It's not Kabuki... it's Gilbert and Sullivan... as Victorian English as they came.
BTW, the first time we heard the whole thing, was when we saw it LIVE! The New D'Oyly at Costa Mesa, CA. Doing the Mikado, around '87 I think. We were middle of the front row... it was beyond awesome. Opera needs to be experienced from the FRONT row.... Just like Rodney Dangerfield ( Caesars Palace, 1985 ).
I didn't know G&S did 'kabuki'. 🤔 Excuse my ignorance but my aunt was Juliard Opera singer/coach and I'm embarrassed now that I'm stuck in the Baroque.the point was the "singing"
Must be the shine. One shot and...
A benefit of staying in the caboose.

So happy to have received my balanced kit in Australia today! Than you everyone involved in the design, providing parts, the diyaudio store, etc.
I think some (like me) are still waiting for kits to arrive, some are waiting for parts to arrive, some are probably waiting for the build guide. None are waiting for inspiration though.
It would be great if someone can start an Iron Pre build thread separate from this thread. This thread has served its purpose, over 1000 posts with some irrelevant content.
I believe, but I'm not certain, that the build guide will be in the diyAudio guides vs. just in a standard thread. That should make things a bit easier.
^ Anyone can feel free to start a build thread. Good luck keeping irrelevant content out of it.

believe me , I tried to stay away, as much was possible

There is a place for errata in a forum which spurs thought.Good luck keeping irrelevant content out of it.
In a build guide it is completely sterile and specically designed for those that need to follow the numbers.
Both are necessary on the public square.

same as old 😎 was reserved for Big Honcho, but it seems someone made a mess with new one, during forum software transition

^ I agree. Clear evidence is that I participate.
One person expressed a thought... I said good luck with that. A great number of people express thoughts along the lines of 'I wish someone else would take care of what I want'... I'm happy to help enable them to do it on their own.
Totally unrelated, but see forum rules re: using the little policeman emoji - only for mods.
Edited to add - ZM fastest on the draw... 🙂

Had no idea. Was not meant to infer I have any authority or wish to take that position. Learning more everyday.Cop smiley reserved for Mod team
Sorry, as proven, I'm at a deficit 'thinking'. In spite of my casual understanding of the forum. No clue. Will continue to monitor in the hope the answer presents itself in future. It must as it is posited by Mighty Moi (Jerry =Moi???). 🤔think
when Tom is around, Jerry is (supposedly) safe in his hole
