Lady, you said a mouthful! The older I get, the more I realize humanity doesn’t know half so much as it thinks it does.As a physicist I believe that we don't know much about things...
Just start a thread. Easy peasey. We can take the discussion elsewhere... no problemo.
maybe here: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/f4-power-amplifier.97540/page-258OK then.... where is the proper place to discuss a front end for bridged F4 amps?
The CJ is just to keep the heat going in the caboose.
We can take the discussion elsewhere... no problemo. ( I am Spanish, I am Inquiring... ).
If you post there, more than happy to join in the reindeer games (whilst I listen to my balanced F4 monsterblocks happily driving me out of the room driven by a Benchmark DAC3 running Audirvana from a Mac Mini). I'm working towards building a balanced SRPP preamp based on Glassware boards. Will share details if any interest.

Can't not agree. For a poor Luudite I find myself stepping on the toes of Giants, not their shoulders.🤔nudgenudge
We are both pathetic.you and Holzarbeiter are exploiting
ROTFLOL.... 😀
😎😳😈
OK. I will post in the F4 forums...
Let me know when the next batch of Iron comes on line...
I ought to be like 50th on line by now.
Pathetic?
Indeed.
ROTFLOL.... Just having some fun here... for some reason this movie came up in my mind. Funny!

Guys, which is the Mouser part number for the IEC filter suitable for Gianluca's chassis?
Thank you.
Thank you.
I have just recieved my code for the single ended kit when i type it in it tells me they are all sold, was i to slow?
just try them by your self, all you need is small 19V-24V PSU and DMM
if action is normal (non-latching) and if contacts are arranged same as Fujitsu, no brainer
NAIS is good $hit
Thank you, Mighty Zen Mod.

Dennis - don't ask me how I know - it's always worth checking are coils polarized ......
knowing me (and my luck) - when I redid Iron Pumpkin for micro-size Fujitsu relays, of course that I didn't see small print in datasheet and of course that I wired it*** opposite
luckily (my luck flippable, luckily
) I did saw that before ordering pcbs
so, ZM's general tactics of futile attempts confirmed again
edit:
*** means all 10 relays on SE, all 12 relays on Bal, all 24 relays on Turtle

I’m going to attempt to build a iron pre se with one of these : https://www.academyaudio.com/
I was also looking at the Muse solution, but I've found that Muse chip need an output buffer and all the project I've seen around are using an integrated IC to implement this buffer.
So the question is: do it have any meaning to insert in the audio signal path an integrated operational circuit in this Iron Pre that is full discrete preamp project ?
You already have a buffer on the input of the IP so you can connect directly the muse and enjoy.
I'm referring to already available solutions that use Muse IC like the one Amandarae suggested (just as one of the many other available). All these project have already a output buffer as per manufacturer requirement.
To avoid this, one should make a project tailored for the IP only instead of using a ready made ones.
https://www.nisshinbo-microdevices.co.jp/en/pdf/datasheet/MUSES72320_E.pdf
If the muses and IP are in the same enclosure you can remove the buffer from the muse pcb.
This discussion kind of fizzled out.
Since balanced Turtle transformer is a no go for balanced Iron Pre I’ve been trying to figure out what would be a worthwhile “second place” so to speak.
Not too excited about pricey pots or stepped attenuators.
Looked at the relay controlled ladder type attenuators on eBay…the display is nice, don’t need their input/output switching scheme…not all have a constant input/output impedance.
So Muses.
Do all the solutions already have a buffer on the output that we would want to figure out how to bypass?
If so, anyone figure how to bypass the buffer themselves?
Anyone inquire with Academy?
They appear to have an add on balanced output board option.
EDIT:
This one is great.... his singing/acting is fantastic....

Must be Lithuanian only site. I can't find in new world. Great emojee.booztime
Heavy Iron Mountain Hooch... 190 proof.
Keeps the caboose warm and can be used to disinfect in case you get cut on the rusty iron.
Great to remove finger oils from the 12AX7s before putting the damping rings on them.
