Will a 6mm extension shaft fit into a 6mm coupler? Or does the coupler opening have to be slightly oversized?

I now think I can see how to do this several different ways using rods, couplers and bearings available on Amazon. I'd probably craft my own bracket.

Music…yippee!!! What a wonderful pre-amp…playing it into one of my Wolverine amps (EF3- 4). Really a sounds beautiful, transparent…..bla,bla….just sounds great!!!

Thank you guys, was a great build.

Thanks Peppe for the Alps connector board

Good Afternoon everyone,
I am getting ready to connect power to the boards, I wanted to shoot out a couple of pictures to see if anyone notices any issues with the power supply before I connect the boards and start testing.

Thank you, Kelly

With two kids and a 11w puppy at home I don't have much time for my projects but I managed to make some progress on my balanced IP build. I am taking my time and try not to make any shortcuts. The Modushop perforated inner bottom makes it so much easier to neatly route cables, and there will be no holes in the actual chassis bottom plate. In the future I am not building anything without an inner bottom plate!

Both my IP boards passed the voltage and dc offset tests without any hiccups.

The donut covers give the impression that the donuts are huge. They are 30VA each, so above requirements but not overly big. Here's what they look like without covers. They are from Polish Toroidy. I wish they made all cables longer. I have to prolong most of them.

Quick question regarding volume pots…. I have the bal v4 kit and I would like to use a Goldpoint v24-4 for attenuation. With 220k R27/R28, which version do I order? 10k, 25k, or 50k?

I read through the threads and found where the suggested value of R27/R28 was 10k for a 10k attenuator and another where the guidance was 220k R27/R28 for a 50k attenuator. Is this correct?

Thanks in advance!
