Some more slow progress! Switcher problems solved by my good friend @birdbox <— did I ever mention that he is good people??
Wired secondaries to pcb and ground cable. Tomorrow to wire the pot pcb, and inputs and outputs!

with next one, you can use even thicker wires
it pays off, then you don't even need to buy screws and distancers, to fix them pcbs to bottom plate

500 MCM won't fit the board. I looked into it 😉 Hopefully Super Mega Deluxe can handle the Omnithick stuff.

or both?
as I said - next time use this, both for energy wires and signal
somehow more appropriate for Iron Pre name

ZM Omnigauge "OG" wire.
I think Jacruzer787 is using the Mighty Mogami W2330 (or perhaps even W2333) as suggested by 6L6. More insulation than anything else.
Here's a comparison of four different Mogami mic wires for comparison.

2381 more to my liking, if coax used at all
but why bother, just take a piece of LAN cable and you have it even twisted-pair-ed already
and - that's pretty much thickest I would use for signal, while exactly proper for all power wires, except mains - there you need something stranded and something better isolated
I’ve used LAN cable so many times now I don’t have any left in the house…used an old phone cord to finish my Iron Pre.
Works great so long as you don’t nick the insulation anywhere, are really careful with the iron.
