Well, out of nowhere... they did deliver it.
Assembled? It's not what you'd call a "full kit"... and Gianluca is still not back from vacation, or so it seems.

Hello, D10 is not marked on the board, but I assume it is the diode between K6 and C12. The balanced BOM shows D15 (separate from DI1 through 5), but I can't find a place on the board that relates to D15. Often I can't see the kitchen utensil I need when it is right in front of me. Is there a D15?
Thanks
Thanks
yeah, D10 sign lost under K6 overlayHello, D10 is not marked on the board, but I assume it is the diode between K6 and C12
there are no more diodes than D10
4pcs of rectifier type - 1N400*
6pcs of small ones, 1N448 type
then 5pcs small ones, marked DI1-DI5
I'm not aware of anything called D15
Those are the capital letter "I" not the number 1.
DI5 through DI9 are the diodes inserted for SE inputs. D10 is right next to C12.
If I get to a place where I can access the .pdfs to circle them for you, I will later... but let me know if you find them.
Edited to add - LOL! I wait to see if anyone chimes in b/c I'm not at my computer...and ZM beats me by a second.

Thanks,
Just so you can see my source of confusion, these two lines are copied from the balanced BOM pdf file:
7 D5, D6, D7, D8, D9, D10, D15 1N4148 1N4148 512-1N4148
5 DI1, DI2, DI3, DI4, DI5 1N4148 ONLY for SE IN 512-1N4148

Oops.... that's what I get when I try and work from memory... I should have just said the one's with the "I's" and think I for input.DI1 to DI5 are the diodes inserted for SE inputs

I've got my goods yesterday!I received a very nice St. Stephen's Day surprise:

Many thanks to all!
And just as promised here is a link where you can find both chassis available to be purchased as a kit so you don't have to add the single customizations to your link! https://modushop.biz/site/index.php?route=product/search&search=IRONPRE
Should you have any question feel free to ask 🙂

Why, in the store kit packing list, does it tell us to note the marking on the anti-static bag?
Thanks
Thanks
Great question.
It indicates (to me) Idss. In the unlikely/rare event someone damages a JFET, a replacement can potentially be found w/o someone needing to pay for a full set. In addition, I still see a lot of people asking how Idss is measured. So ... asking someone that may have fried a part to measure the remaining JFETs to find a match didn't seem super cool... so I put a secret code on the bags... juuuuuust in case.
