I'm fascinated by the VAS in this circuit (Q6, Q7, Q8). Is it discussed in some other thread? Here is one of my old *experiments*. I find this particular design kind of funny...
The amp would perform very, very well at 100KHz if the LTP had enough current drive for C1.

Sorry for the OT 😱
Who are you, Godfrey ? And you come from ? Your words are very similar to the words of one person... 😎
Sticking past limitation is caused by heavy saturated VAS transistor, not by large capacity in feedback loop....
Amperage has no effect. It is about the size of a feedback capacity and kept the input differential pair transistors. You can simulate models do not believe you can, attempt - error check.
I have not any feedback capacity in global feedback loop in my amps, Federmann, you can see these ones at your sites. But I have there antisaturation diodes, which " heal " this effect at 100%, because they stop heavy saturation....

You can show your curves?
Certainly, Federmann: your site, but photos from my amp - "Hi-Fi svět" federmann.cz • Zobrazit téma - I MISTŘI se mýlí, aneb 50let slepé cesty
Pavel, your link doesn't work. Are you saying that photos posted here are your photos? (as opposed to photos he took of your amp)
The link works. If not, i can send a pdf, SY.

My name is Godfrey Leibbrandt. I am a 48 year old man, divorced with one child (a 16 year old son). Electronics is not my profession, only a hobby. I do computer programming for a living. I come from Cape Town, South Africa. I live in the suburb called "Fish Hoek" with my cat.Who are you, Godfrey ? And you come from ? Your words are very similar to the words of one person... 😎
Anything else you would like to know about me?
Do your questions about me have anything more to do with the topic of this thread than the rest of your posts, or are you simply determined to get binned?
Yes Stuart, these photos are from my amp TYA III, which Federmann use without my licence at his sites....if you can, I will post original at the evening...

And this photo is mine.

Upupa, are they your photos? As opposed to photos that he has taken of your amp? And to which post are you referring (there's lots of photos in this thread)?
PMA, what people do elsewhere is not our concern. Please do not drag disputes from other forums over here. You've been warned REPEATEDLY about that.

These photos was published by me for ilustration of behavior my amp TYA III at sites hifi.slovanet.sk hifi.slovanet.sk :: Zobrazi tému - TYA by Pavel Dudek and here hifi.slovanet.sk :: Zobrazi tému - TYA by Pavel Dudek
I say again, I can to send to you original photos at the evening...

I don't see any photos at those links. Unfortunately, I do not read or understand Czech (other than a few selected curses), so can't follow where in the thread you're talking about. And where in the threads at diyAudio you claim your pictures are being posted. If you can at least do the latter, that would be helpful.
Pavel, SY is not logged at hifi.slovanet.sk and therefore can not see any attachements, only text. This is a new feature in this forum that Troton made to Federmann and other trolls can not steal images.
Federmann and other trolls can not steal images.
Have a nice day.
1st From this site I did not use any photo.
2nd Photos used on my site, always have a reference to the source.
3rd Pictures and texts were used in accordance with copyright law.
4th I, do not give, where they were used in my texts and photos.
I wish all a nice afternoon.
Now I ask participants to stop the trip out of thread and returned to the original thread.
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much.
Godfrey - I share your sentiments. It's not the VAS that's unique, just the form of cascoding (which allows for use of a slower, more robust VAS). I think this is called the "wilson cascode" or something of that nature but really it's just a 2-transistor CCS except with the device-under-cascode replaced with the resistor. It is very effective, if you ever want to give a transistor a low cascode voltage (say .3V Vcb) without the transistor saturating, since the cascode voltage is very controlled. Although my implementation wasn't that great, I'm choking the transistor with about 0 Vcb. It was one of my older designs.
I'm not sure what you mean by cross-currents, but maybe you guessed that I have no way of controlling the VAS (Q16 and Q14) bias current, which may skyrocket or plummet with temperature.

diyAudio
Interesting and very quick engagement, large bandwidth, more than 3.5 MHz. What are they doing to end cross-currents of transistors?

Federmann, I am so tired by your lies...photos at your page, which I am talking about, are mine and they was taken by you from slovanet without my licence...
