HELP !
I´m checking this thread frequently.
I have a E-ballast 200W with input-voltage of 365V-380V for DC burners.
how can I run this in Germany with 230V?
I plan to buy also a UHP from YWH.
@YWH do you have 250W AC-burner? if yes I would need the specs please.
thanks

my ballast has a PFC converter and should work from 110-240V, so it´s ok.
my lamp is DC200W.
what is the advantage or disadvantage of DC lamps?

do you have 200W DC lamps also?
does anybody know the difference between AC and DC lamps?
I mean performance: brightness, lifespan, horizontal/vertical position...

I read almost every post, And I'm am now almost certain I can use my IceCap e-ballast. The problem is, it says the output is 250W 120V. Is that too much?
Can someone please help me out? I like the color temp and life. But if it is less life with a 250W ballast, maybe I want a 150W ballast? Then again, maybe I don't want to spend that much to replace my current setup of the IceCap 250W, with an HQI TS 5500K 2000H double-ended bulb that I can get for a little over 40$ US from a UK lighting company.

YWH,
I still have trouble to send your emails. all emails I sent in last few days had been return because of "mailbox full". do you have another email account that I can use?

My ballast is 130V, Not 120V as previously stated. I would love that 6000H HQI, but the color would be too blue, almost purple. Could I put, say, a filter on it to bring it down to 6500K?

130V is not nice for UHP.
9000K is best color.if you play your 9000k projector and TV, you note the white image, 9000k projector is the same as with TV.
it is not purple, it is unalloyed white.

Got a pic of that HQI?
Also, anyone know where I can get a good condensor and reflector for a double ended bulb setup?

ywh,
Do you still have access to the first light set in the thread with the 6500k color temp? Are there any options for USA voltage?

ywh said:condensor and reflector for a double ended bulb setup
I checked back a couple of pages and you say the lighthouse is $25. Is that with the condensor and reflector? if not, how much for the full lighthouse setup with the condensor, reflector, and the FC2 connectors?
