Just got lamp in mail
Hi Ywh!
Just got my lamp in the mail.
I was trying to reset the projector's lamp timer and can't figure out what I am doing wrong. The projector's lamp does not always want to come on and I think it may be because the timer still "thinks" the lamp needs changed. It won't reset for me.
Have you had any experience with that? It's a Sharp XR10X.
Thanks,
John

RE: Sharp Lamp reset
YWH,
Thanks for getting back with me. I tried that already and I can't get it to reset. Is there a specific sequence that the buttons need to be pushed? Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks,
John

1, Plug the power cord into the AC socket of the projector.
2, keep it in power off
3, holding down 3type
4, type STANDBY/ON

Hi!
I need to replace the burner in my Sony Cineza LMP-H130 module. The reflector is spec'd: HS130AR10-7
Is there some trick to getting the old bulb out or uncemented without damaging the reflector? Is the fireplace cement at Home Depot type stores?
Merry Xmas!

A Mitsubishi HC900 takes a 250W bulb. Is it AC or DC? Is it High or Low Voltage Ignition? Does it matter if it is High or Low Voltage Ignition because I've read somewhere they low voltage ones work on high voltage and vice versa.
Sharp XR10X
Thanks for the info. YWH that took care of it. Amazing how one thing out of order can throw everything off.
I am also having trouble with the lamp coming on periodically. I can hear it make a sound as if it wants to come on but does not always want to. I changed it to another bulb and it is doing the same thing.
Anyone have any ideas on that?
Thanks,
John

Sony VPL-HS10 180w UHP
Hi yvh
I need to replace the burner in my Sony VPL-HS10, the original is 180W UHP.
Is 180w BSM-AC correct lamp? Or can i use 200w BSM-AC for better lamp life (no matter if it is dimmer)?

Try here: LumenArc - 150W AC Projector Lamp Bulb - Low Voltage Ignition
I've placed an order a 250W AC Burner. Hope it arrives quick fingers crossed. By the way, is it not possible to buy the cement the manfacturers use. What is that cement called?

Sorry, forgot to mention it's a 200W philips ballast.
Or is there no difference in the bulb?
The SP5000 lamps seems to die quite fast and easy...
Other question:
If I would use a 250W bulb:
Would it start?
Would it extend the lifetime?
Be better for heat?
Or destroy my 200W ballast?

Lamp will not light Sharp XR10X
I have a Sharp XR10X that has to be reset about 4 times or so before the lamp will light. I reset the lamp timer and still the same problem.
Someone had also mentioned about a reset switch inside. I tried that as well and still the same problem.
When you try to turn the lamp on you can hear it make a faint sound like it is trying to light but the sound goes up and down like a low pitch whine or whistle.
Anyone have any dealings with such a problem or where I can go for an answer?
I have two different bulbs and bother react the same way so I don't think it is the bulb.
Thanks,
John
