the transverse section of yours glass bar is rectangular, they are DC.
but the poles like AC,
AC lamps have two electrodes in same size;
DC lamps have one electrode larger than the other one.

maybe you have to check the V of ballast.

The bulb/reflector type is OSRAM P-VIP 250/1.3 E21.8

It appears that your replacement BSM-AC bulbs would be compatible, but are only maximum 200W, whereas I need 250W.

Are you able to special order 250W BSM-AC? I am prepared to pay extra if needed. Let me know.

Could you also provide the reflector to suit? What is the price and postage?

Details and price, please? From what I'm gathering here, this price is for just the lamp, correct? I've not dismantled the XR30X's lamp assembly yet, reflector could possibly be damaged, or its the lamp I'm seeing down in there looking all bubbled up.

Are these lamps going to be a snap in, easy replacement, or am I going to have to customize the fit?

The XR-10X doesnt need a lamp yet, but if they use the same replacement lamps, I may have to order a few..

Yes, from my reading the XR-30X is a 200 watt bulb, the number on the back of the bulb is SHP 110 RLMPFA 030WJ .

image does not show on screen ???

I have installed a new bulb in my projector. i started the projector cannot see image on screen however i can see the image the lens.
The only thing that might be different is that when cemented bulb in reflector it might be sticking out 1/4 inch more than before because bulb was bottoming out in ceramic insert.

Also here a noise like a small saw and i don't believe it is the fan it is something else??

Can someone tell what direction i should go.

Where in the world can I get my hand's on burned ViewSonic RLC-014 lamps. I thought of a brilliant idea and bought another PJ402D "with wornout lamp" exept the old lamp was thrown to dumpster. So instead of having two PJ402D:s and one burned lamp, now I have two projectors without lamps.

Please someone somewhere: I need two (or at least one) RLC-014 cage+reflector sets.
