Hi crowsss !
I sent email to you

I just wanted to say thank you, Yu! I received my package the other day, well packed and bulbs neatly cemented in the reflectors...yay!!

I will try them out in the projector in the next few days.

For all those sitting on the fence about buying Yu's bulbs, I can say my experience was a positive one......

Regards,
Phil

Hi YWH,

I've decided to just go with one of your lamps for my Marantz VP12S4, instead of a CMH conversion. However, on the diypro site, I see "BSM lamps replace UHP, SHP, HS, HSCR, MS, UHE, UMPRD(DC),UHM(DC);" except SHP is crossed out. Why is this?

Also, is BSM higher quality than JYD? Comments re: JYD didn't give me much confidence in it. Any comments from people using it? I'm a little nervous to use such a cheap bulb, for color temp and CRI and life. Can it match OEM in all factors?

Amazing solution. This way we can have asy replaceable lamps forever. Props for r6express!

The projector is already tucked away and would be a pain to pull it out to get a pic. Instead, I created this drawing, to illustrate the solution.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

The Steel Spacer shown in the drawing was needed since the bulb stuck too far out from the end of the reflector housing. I have a junk box of metal pieces, like screws, nuts, washers, spacers, etc. so it was no problem to find one that worked. Additionally, I used a pronged wire terminal between the wingnut and the bottlecap to fasten the wire to that end.

BTW, I did scrape out the rubber seal from the underside of the bottlecap, just in case it might melt from the heat, but it likely wouldn't have caused a problem any.
