How do I find out if I need a new ballast or a new lamp on my 3 year old sharp xr-10x? The last lamp I installed only has 20 hrs, but will not light up (I just get a sequence of lights ending with double red).

If it turns out to be just the lamp, then please let me know which bulb I need. Do you also have the ballast (if that's what I need)?😕

I think he's referring to the reflector unit - it's quite a bit larger than just the replacement lamp and is more expensive to ship.

If you only want the lamp, then it is $5 USD to ship since it is a much smaller and lighter item. With a reflector, it will be more expensive
