I was thinking using TILES CEMENT mixing with MASONTRY CEMENT...

gonna try it tomorrow.

Also,
How do you weld the connections ? SOldering guns ? ... help me out here, if the lamp does get very high heat. It will melt the connection with solder.

Hi venomxx!
Lamp cement or high temp muffler cement or suitable. You can but a tube of grey ready mix compound (Resbond 407GF for $9.95 or Thermeez Ceramic Putty, White color) that comes in a syringe type tube ready to use from Cotronics Corp. at http://www.cotronics.com/ or call 1-718-646-7996

looking for a dud lamp mine exploded

fitted lamp and ballast from hid 55w kit off eBay about £50 for a pair, to my old Davis cinema one just needed a 6amp 12volt supply to power it results are surprisingly good brighter than I expected and I also now have a spare bulb and ballast

The reflector was damaged a lot of cracks when it exploded so I need a old unexploded lamp like picture I have been looking for years for an old lamp reflector see photo their must be hundreds thrown away every week
