OOPS - Correction -not an HPS but an NSH according to one website - manual lists it as a UHP mercury - square reflector

colour temperature

any one know what the colour temperature of a 150w uhp projector lamp would be, want to experiment with hid 50 watt car HID head light, and they are available in a range of colour temps would like to get the closest to original

6000k - 6500k is optimal. Closest to white light

You can go about +/- 1000k on either side of the spectrum, but I believe 4500k is the lowest one should go and 8000k is the highest. But that is all relative - depends on what you can personally tolerate (and adjust with colour settings).
