YWH,

I'm the one that posted about the Proxima DP6155 bulb and cages. The cage in the pic is the right one. Do you have the cages? If so, we need 4 cages and 2 bulbs, one of the cheaper ones and one of the $80 ones if that's the right price. Let me know along with your Paypal address and I'll send the total amount for whatever you can provide.

Thanks,
Jim

ywh, my email address is aarontn (at) gmail.com

Is this a fairly easy modification? I am not an electrician. I have built computers for years, but that is all plug and play. This is a little different. Do you have any documentation or instructions? Or any that you could point me to?

Cleaning the Reflector

Hello:

This is my first attempt to repair a projector bulb. I appreciate all the expertise you guys convey in this forum...

As I'm sure is common, my original bulb exploded. Luckily the reflector perfectly fine. There is however a dusty looking film covering the reflective coating inside the reflector. After removing the bulb / debris, I blew it out with compressed air, and it will probably work fine. I am debating whether to try and wash the thing out in an attempt to get some of the hazy film off. Maybe just some mild dish washing soap and water swished around? Maybe some glass cleaner? I don't want to do anything that risks further damage to the reflective surface however.

Anyone have any advice or experience in washing out the reflector before replacing the bulb?

-Thanks

DP6155 bulbs

YWH,
Thanks for checking for the DP6155 cages. How much for two bulbs for the DP6155? I noticed you mention an $80 bulb and a lesser quality one for $40 in the earlier postings. If both are available for the DP6155 I'd like to order one of each. Let me know what the total is and your Paypal address and I'll get you the payment ASAP.

Thanks,
Jim

My bulb...

Hi,
do you have/sell the reflector as well ?

I mean the whole lamp looks just like mine ?

When I asked about the Proxima 5610 you have replied

Can you please confirm which bulb is the correct for Proxima 5610

Hi YWH -It's been a long time since I've been on this forum

I've bought a JVC SX21 (250W HPS lamp - Part No BHL-5006-S) with 575 hours on the lamp - works great, but I was keen to have a spare lamp just in case

Do you have the correct replacement lamp and if so how much to supply and post to Australia
