Hello,
After gathering a lot of information and an occasion where I had the chance to listen to Alin C's Hiraga amplifier, I decided to build one myself.
The PCB used for the amplifier stage does not belong to me, it is taken from the internet, but its subsequent editing is done by me. I made some changes to it to bring it closer to our days.
As for used transistors, I bought the j-fet's from diyaudiostore and the others from professional websites.
What fully belongs to me is the design and construction of the regulators and the CRCC filter.
Now I am looking for a case in which to install them.

No channel separated psus, no "double mono": simply to test: connect both and listen.
Key experiment in audio engeneering;-)

And this is absolute and formerly secret insider knowledge - or just plain nonsense?!No channel separated psus, no "double mono": simply to test: connect both and listen.

They will be fully separated. No channel separated psus, no "double mono": simply to test: connect both and listen.

I already received my order from toroidy.
Each channel will have they own toroidal transformer, regulator and CRCC filter.

Why did you chose 7815 reg?
I have used LM338T. With the ideea that the cip to be mounted on the same heatsink as the amplifier board.
In the picture attached is one example.
Next week I will built another one with two LM338T on the same board.

If you follow the GB thread, you will notice that the 7815 is just a pre-reg to take out the mains ripples.
The regulator that follows is 2x LT3081. We don't need the high current and voltage of the LM338 here.

Our own build uses our version of the Didden Super (Power) Regulator.

But it is too complex to support it in public projects, as previous experience has shown.
Hence LT3081, which is simple and has all the addition safety features .

Rather nice looking heat sink with modules mounted. Why is it to complex for commercial, is it hand populated, then I can understand.
That makes sense, I won't make things for anyone anymore since it just give them a reason to bitch about it, especially when you do it out of the goodness of your heart and own pocket.
