setriode,
read my anti Epcos rant above, says it all. It is not that they only kill a good product. Meanwhile i talked to some EE buddies about the topic, all complain about not getting the spare parts they need and so they seek another supplier .. and then stick with him from now on.

Siemens oops! Epcos is history, i just wonder if someone bothered to tell them.

US$14 !! Ouch!

.... but :sigh: the caps are worth it. 🙁

me lucky bastard, out of an intuition, i phoned Farnell Germany yesterday eving, they had a lot, i got them for Euro 11.20, i ordered them, got them delivered this morning to my housedoor. I thought, 11.20 is a rip! Nope.
And i phoned Conrad.de, they too had a small lot. Grabbed that too. No, i do not tell the price, that's why i thought 11.20 is a rip.

Dale, i am not in your order for 1µ0. Who ever wants 0µ47, i still can have some.
But folks, do not endanger the 90 pieces deal just because a 0µ47 eventually might do, ok?

I am somewhat unsure about who I am ordering from

I am somewhat unsure about who I am ordering from.

I am also concerned about 10 week delivery time. That usually means that the units have not been manufactured yet -- which means that they might not become available.

Does Farnell Germany still have any?
I don't want to be a party pooper, but if they are available at 11 Euro I would prefer to go that route and order direct. Please contact me privately if this would cause a problem for the group.

Hugh,
i have put your 4 in the order list. You get them from Dale anyway, no more 1µ0 MKVs from Germany. Only 4? You can not use them for commercial products as they are revoked. But, maybe you re-calculate your personal needs?
Later you may regret there are no more avaiable.

Dale,
i put your 8 pieces into the list. Now are 20 needed to meet the 90pieces limit.

Peterr,

:sorry: oops, forgot the motor regulating schematic, sure will look for it.
Any LM317 or L200 design will do.

As both motors are DC voice coil motors, they should run from the same regulated power supply, provided it can drop the voltage without overheating.
Just, i have to find out about the voltages the motor is using and its pulley is only 7 or 8 mm diameter. Can be the VEM runs from 12V and the 941 from 36V?

I put you on the list for the CAPS and the VEM motor (which will cost 5 Euro plus shipping)
