the picture

From my personall collection:a very musicall amp. It outputs 2-3w in 8ohms and almost 4w in 4ohms at 2-3% dist. It needs 1v max input. It works from the start. It had an output transformer in the originall schm but i modified the nfb to suport a choke for convenience. I used a shielded 10A@12v smps but would sound very very nice from a clasic CLC or 10000uf+10uF in parallel with a 65A car battery (best).

Hello, the picture is not clear, can you send me high-resolution pictures?

After test in the line stage, germanium sound is something in between of Korg triode and Toshiba jfets sound.
Get a choice of preamplifiers with distinguished different active devices is fascinating to play music with :cheerful:
Power amp can be interesting indeed :superman: 21 Happy Germanium New Year ?

Happy new year!! 🥳🥳🥳
I have attached the pic again. To me is very clear. Try to download it and see it again. If not send a pm with your email to me to send it to you via email.
I have to admit, after comparing different amps (majority of class a) i have settled to a solid state class AB hibrid germanium with AD166 output transistor and phase splitter transformer. 10w is more than enough to me.... I still have the Hiraga Super Nemesis (wich i considered to be one of the best sounding till now) to rest onto the shelf. To this date they sound exactly the same but the germanium dissipates wayy less..
Cheers
Sergiu
