Cricklewood sold the last of their J109BL 's yesterday. They had access to 15 of J109GR - if that helps someone.

Blue Star lists 2sk389 unspecifed IDSS as 88 pieces and 17 of 2sk389BL as of today so take John's advice even at these prices as the chance to buy from a known source is drying up and then fakes will become more common and increase your risk when buying from a distance.

A group buy will take too long to organise and there aren't enough left for anyone to make you a deal on - you probabaly have a day or 2 at the most even at these prices to act and then even these sources will be gone - as John said DO IT NOW

You guys are like a hungry pack of wolves.

A month ago there were over 2000 pcs or the K389BL on Bluestar web site. Someone mentions it here and now in just 2 days its down to 17 pcs. Just crazy.

I can't tell you how many times I have ordered parts based on supposed web availability only to be told that they were out of stock, and that the site was out of date. Just because they say so doesn't mean it is really so. I haven't dealt with Bluestar so I can't say that they didn't have the parts, just that I am a little skeptical. Exceptions: Digikey and Mouser in USA are pretty good at this. I think in the EU Farnell seems to do a reasonable job as well.

Bought some from them a month ago. Just missed out on getting some J109BL's from them. They sold all their 109's and a whole wack of 389's to an oem manufacturer just days before my order according to the guy at bluestar. He said that he is trying to get more.

Found some 109's elsewhere but they too are no longer available.

Dan.

Eric at Bluestar said that an eom amp manufacture was also buying from them. So that must of been you guys at Parasound last month when I just missed out on getting my hands on some J109's. And just recently when the count suddenly drop from over 2000 pieces.

Dan.

Don't worry, even if they buy (the DIY people) they don't build anything, so sooner or later all those pcs will appear back on the market anyway, maybe even cheaper 😉

Hi Peter

You may think i'm joking but once i bought a parts lot from a diyer and inside there were a couple of your power supply boards. For free.

Just got an email back from A'af. Said he is still working on our little - or should I say big- problem.

Nice to know someone gets news. Most of us don't know anything.

A'af promised us in post #352, that he would contact his supplyer January 5. That's tomorrow, and i wonder who starts on a saturday, after having closed for a couple of weeks.
Still, i expect to see news from A'af tomorrow. As others stated, A'af has put his personal guarantee.
