I think Is just matter of time that somebody come up with an AI that design the most efficient cabinets.
Remember when some speakers says CAD assisted horn design.
Now it will read AI assisted design.😁

I'm talking about this

Soon a news headline will read " deep mind AI designed TH cabinets 3 times (well maybe 1.8 times) more efficient than the DSL TH115 reference mark"
But maybe is unlikely as the owners of that technology don't give a S.... About sub cabinets.
What if you feed to a deep mind kind of AI all the info known to man about cabinet acoustics , all the existing designs and theory. Physics of audio and physics of wind tunnel analysis kind of thing.
All relevant to extrapolate on an existing or create a new design.

Facts😝 just DONT build this and save yourself the torture of the random kinked up snake shape and impossible phase aligning of those two ‘resonators’ . Impossible and for good reason. Sine/cosine can never agree at any landmark location in 1/4 parts

Hi, where is the Hornresp input data? Can you share it?Just wanted to post a teaser of my plan for 8 x dirt-cheap "the box Speaker 12-280/8-A" in 4 x less than 180 liter boxes.
So that is 150*8=1200 Watts totally luggable for when the need strikes me. Aiming for something later this year.
I wasn't going to, but since you ask so nicely.
It is a work in progress, have not decided on all the little details yet.
I am heavily considering the shape and location of ports.

Slightly improved Hornresp model... and I ran into a bug which I'm going to report in the Hornresp thread...
This does sound like HR speak...LOL!I'm talking about this

"The researchers tackled larger matrix multiplications by creating a meta-algorithm that first breaks problems down into smaller ones. When crossing an 11 × 12 and a 12 × 12 matrix, their method reduced the number of required multiplications from 1,022 to 990."
Definitely a better looking SkyNet!
Hahah, yeah. Spent a few tenths of a second contemplating whether I whould remove a line or just have one redundant line, decided that toggling the different S function and fiddling to change the value would cost me a few seconds more than just not bothering.Slightly improved Hornresp model
Hey kaffi, thomman dont disclose the thiele small of your driver,I wasn't going to, but since you ask so nicely.

here in the states i found this one

Yes, they do.thomman dont disclose the thiele small of your driver,

Where that was hidden?? The main page of the driver only show 3 specs.
Secret menu?
So what's best more power capability or more xmax

Both of those parameters are somewhat open to interpretation, if they are in the same type of ballpark I would not be overly concerned about it.
250 vs 280 or perhaps 300W is not really a big difference in power added per spl output, however 10 vs 50 W is a very big difference.
Differences under 1mm xmax is not worth getting worked up over, on cheap drivers like these a much more significant parameter would be xmech but that is often a complete unknown.
The spec sheet is not hidden at all, most of those are visible as pdf's when scrolling down the product page a bit.
