Frugel-Horn XL for Alpair 10.3/10p, Fostex FF165wk, more

As of this writing I have 2 pairs of each 2 pairs of FH3 and 2 pairs of FHXL. The second pair of XL’s are going to have the extra Baffle so I can change driver fairly easy . First I am going with the not so efficient tang band W6-2144, for the simple reason I never heard a tang band driver!?! My question is does anyone use a Lowther driver in the XL’s for a more efficient driver and which one might work best??? It’s a work in progress, I have too many 2wpc tube amplifiers, thanks

I expect that most Lowthers, those that need a horn, would have the same struggles as the Fostex FExx6 seies, but the PM6 (i have done Low-Kens for 2 of them) mght be well suited to Joan. Don’t know about the smaller Lowthers. The Alnico version might have issues with actaully fitting into the box.

On first glance it looks like a decent fit.
