FM is better than any of the simliar SMd caps in similar range needed, i.e 50V 100uF, 1000uF, 16V, 1000uF. Lower ESR, higher ripple rating. FM caps have oustanding numbers, they just sound funny😀
Teabag do you have a part description for the onetics pinout suitable for diptrace? or just a link to the datasheet if it has this info? I have them in hand so can just measure, but I dont think I have the datasheet anywhere and its for sure not in the library hehe
qusp
data sheet is in post 1421 of this thread
hope all is going well with you
thanks Mate, found it, emailed Pano to double check the original spec as I gather he bought them as a custom spec dac buffer TX (I got from Pano in the FS), that datasheet calls out an A type and B type, probably mine are not quite either of those, but hopefully still viable, as the appealing thing about this project is aside from the jfets I can use all parts I already have if I can use the onetics and end up with a top result as by happenstance I have premium parts for everything already.
things going well? not really mate, pretty depressing Xmas around here, but I have to try and put the brave face on. OT

Has anyone considered cascoding the output on the F6?
I would think it would lower the Miller Capacitance, which should improve the open loop bandwidth of the transformer, as well as lowering the distortion compared to a MOSFET output.
It looks like the LU1014 are still available surplus.
What do you think?

already talked about
think difference between depletion and enhancement mode parts biasing ;
probably not worth complication
or ........ just because of that , tempting

Depletion mode parts (LU1014D, SSRO85) are always on by default. Enhancement mode fets(SSr100, IRF240,FQA16n25c) have to be biased on, by default.

buzz , for Semisouths , difference is in SJEP vs. SJDP , in name
what you wrote is part of name , having info about inner resistance , when fully on
I suppose its not always a good thing ...

did Pa ever wrote here that joke about young and old bull , standing on top of the hill ?
