Is there a performance advantage.
Papa gave a practical reason here (post #143):

@Toys4Boys, yes. The chassis offerings are currently being updated and should be announced in the not to different future.
Sweet! Assume you mean "distant future" not "different future" LOLThe chassis offerings are currently being updated and should be announced in the not to different future.
No. 2 amp channels and single PSU.Will the store offer a kit for monoblock version - 2 amp boards and 2 PSU boards?
This isn’t going to be much issue, because that extra PSU you’ll end up with can be used in many different applications and projects.
@MattHauck Nope. Sold the LXmini a while ago.
@Toys4Boys , yes, as @WBS mentions, these projects will all work with the UMS / deluxe chassis. There may be some new sizes available this year, we’re looking into expanding the Deluxe line a little.
Correct. Build a Stasis. Or a big Aleph. Or perhaps one of the Burning Amp variations.
Although Nelson has said, “There’s no such thing as a heatsink too big.”, this will work just perfectly in a 3U. It will probably even work in a 2U if you don't mind it getting quite warm to the touch.

Little to none. The build guide will be using an AS-3220, for what it’s worth….Curious what if any sonic advantage one might hear using the 300 va vs 200 va transformers?
This will answer the 'burning' question of those with the need to put Dual/Mono or a pair of D/M in one case.even work in a 2U if you don't mind it getting quite warm to the touch.

If it can run 35 WPC this is not a 'bridge' too far, and cheaper.
but current capability of "just" one pair per side, somewhat meeh
don't use force, use a bigger hammer
don't use force, use a bigger hammer
Based on Pass 25W amps. But,,, in reading this amp should be more capable at producing 35W. Bidged must be over 100W.closer to 100W…
I don't know.
My F6 and F4 D/M are too heavy for me to move around now.
This is why Zen is here.but current capability of "just" one pair per side, somewhat meeh

I agree.
I can still lift heavy things with relative ease, the next fun amps will be SissySit and Stasis.
