Has anyone considered playing with the edcor (xformer rolling), or already done it?

Yes, the Jensen and Cinemag 600:600 transformers previously used
worked well.

The downside is less gain, but also using them as auto-formers has
limited their operation to non-inverting as in the N channel version.

That said, I always go by a) Price and b) What ZM prefers.

Edcor +1.

Edcor has online shop. People just need to select, pay and wait.

Other two don't have online shop. I emailed, and asked price, finally got a quote and wanted to pay and never got back how to proceed with payment. Then I gave up and just ordered Edcor.

You (that is, all of us wanting some) probably have to find a representative (with an online-shop). Being in europe, i only know european guys…

World is small

Especially if you count that getting goods is taking some time

in fact - everything is easy when obtaining something new, in current production, and delays are easy to endure

problem is when you want to find something not in current production...... often happens that even "money not object" approach is not enough - when there is no supply ..... and demand is always greater

old speakers/drivers, for instance
