Keep those cards and letters coming in! If the creek doesn't rise and someone responds to my request for boards I will build one myself!

Thread sanitized.
Going forward:
- Stay on topic
- Do not abuse the report post button.
is the current posted IPS template current ?
Yes it is.
Here are the details of the SIP1 header
SIP1 Male - 14 Position Pin Header Gold (Male SIL) for 10mm standoff - Round 575-8001001410001000 - Mill-Max - 3.18mm
SIP1 Female - 14 Position Female Gold socket for 10mm standoff - Round 437-8018301410001101 - Preci-dip - 7.0mm
I hope your mini project goes well.
Thank you for the those sip header numbers.
For compatibility , does the Wolverine VAS still run @ 4mA ? No heatsinks on a SMD IPS , just FR-4 copper (As the HS ,for the VAS).
You never answered me to as why you heatsink the (small) CCS on the wolverine. At <3mA , it should be super cool.
This is why I designed everything with such low Ic , for ice cold (heatsinkless) operation. On my mini-OPS , no pre-driver OR driver heatsink
either .... just a driver/Vbe/driver "sandwich" - like the original HK680 EF3.
Once I get my first 2 IPS's done , I might just SMD the wolverine.
PS - I read the build guide , it's very professional. The wolverine is a more complicated project that needs good documentation. I might offer
some premade Spooky and hellraiser SMD boards , I can bake them in an oven 10 at time ... hehe!

He meant my little 60W amp OPS's , not my contribution...Why do you address ostrippers contribution as 'mini' while it is major?

Just repeating what OS said.2 (mini) output
Please don't, cause trouble on this thread. Its quite easy to press report to keep this thread on topic.
This thread is intended to be about the wolverine build and discussions directly related to it. I have no problem pressing report.
The IPS and VAS run at a nominal 5mA. If you download the schematics attached to the first post you'll see all the details are clearly shown.does the Wolverine VAS still run @ 4mA
I'm glad that you like the build guide.
Feel free to use any parts of it for inspiration on yours
Yes , Stuart's doing a good job - his thread. Oh, by the way ...Wolverine OPS boards can run vertical MOSFET's with jumpers (B-E predriver)
and a red led in place of the driver Vbe. Slewmaster OPS - 5 pair vertical mosfet's ... 1KW+ @ 4R easy. One builder is still running subs with it.
He did have to add gate protection zeners...

Please do not promote the loose use of the report button. Use only once per thread, and explain there is more than one post for us to address. I am a much nicer person when the workload is reduced.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

I do not even know where the report button is Cal. Would you kindly explain that to me? I realize it's a bit of a stretch from Canada to East Texas but you could leave your workload there. I have 10,000 recordings and an average system. I also have alcohol should you imbibe amongst other vices. I cannot imagine having to keep this bunch in line, so hats off. I apologize for straying from topic but thought this the best place. Your efforts are appreciated.
Report is found at the bottom of each post. When you click it, the Mod crew receives that report with your explanation of a concern.
It is best employed by sipping, not gulping.

Well well. I have finally submitted my final paper for MEng. Had to drop out for two months to focus on studying. Have I missed anything? My last post was around mid-February. Will need to review at what stage I am with my build. Probably not too far away from completion. Guys, expect questions before I fire it up 🙂
Please do.. then my noob questions might get answered or pass by unnoticedGuys, expect questions before I fire it up
The beast is now running!!! 😍
Thanks to all the people who contributed to this project and a big thanks to Fireanimal without him it would not have been possible.

Nicely done, @poiy!
What are your first impressions?
I can't wait to finally get the time to sit down and focus on my build.
