There is a 8 coming it's in the graphs fileThe 4 and 5" are also now listed. Hoped there'd be an 8" but oh well.

Good catch! I missed that.See "aluminum sleeve for improved inductance" is already mentioned!
Should be 5 sizes, as shown at AXPONA.
I would like to see a close copy of the SB Acoustics MD60-N but with more Xmax (trading efficiency for coil length/winding width) ... (apply homeric laugh here) ... for a third of the demonic price!Maybe they'll make dome mid 🤔🙂
For the improved , updated version please see original data sheet on the manufacturers website ... Vance Dickasons measurements showing the tubular detachable back channel still longs for better absorption :

Found a chinese PDF with freq resp and specs for the DM 7600 :

Looks like the 7600 is in every aspect better than the 7500 !!
The Soundimports price of the 7500 is very attractive ...

Doesn't seem to be all that effective. SB17NAC35 (admittedly, a slightly smaller driver... I think) has 0.13 mH inductance vs the 0.4x mH of this driver.See "aluminum sleeve for improved inductance" is already mentioned!
Yes that's what I would expect too .. but for me numbers are just numbers when it comes to distortion .. how it sounds is more important .. if I detect no significance then let numbers be numbers!
A good life cannot be expressed by numbers!
Also - a new line of drivers with attractive price would give speakerbuilding a generous push into a better future where we all could have more fun together!
In these chaotic times we need something positive .... remember , it could be worse!

Well, that perspective is OK too, but we should just not mislead ourselves into thinking that, if its veracity wouldn't end up being too important, then a marketing claim can be taken at face value.
Our Midwestaudioneers have some more info about the Sigstuff :

The currently no avail DA25TX (DA32TX/32mm coil) from Tymphany was a tru white ceramic dome (no cheap Keronite) with very large Xmax and superior wide radiation above 10kHz ... a similar design from Dayton Audio would be the crown for the signature series!
Long Live Dayton Audio 🙂))

Yes, Corundum in this case means aluminum oxide through and through, not just surface oxidation. Accutons are made this way, as were some of the Eton and TLabs domes. The TB and SB are likely surface treated. Not certain on the Visaton KE25.
That is just an oxidation layer on the surface of the substrate, and not through and through. There is a difference. Just so others note this.
Maybe tru ceramics here : https://aac.fr/en/products.php

25um seems to be just about right for most cases ...

Looking at the impedance graph, none or badly implemented. Will they get shorting rings in the magnet structure?
Even aluminum demodulation rings would flatten or at least straighten the impedance curve at higher frequencies.
Btw, what's the new Klippel marketing these days? Every major company uses a Klippel system to verify their designs these days?
Would be a real banger when they actually shared that data instead.
Any data which shows the product as deficient relative to the competition is normally considered proprietary. Like it or not, that is how manufacturing works.Would be a real banger when they actually shared that data instead.
Interesting, they use the exact same basket as the Peerless/Tympany Exclusive line (and Nomex)
Do you think they source these components from the same supplier as Tympany, or do you think these new Dayton drivers are made in the same factory as Tympany?
