Hi Kimmo, I tried loading the version from Ng4lfaeFQQ but sadly it did not work.
I can only get the version from May to work which is what I'm using at the moment.
I see you have suggested another version uploaded to Ng4lfaeFQQ so I will try that shortly and let you know the result.

I am also having trouble no music .
Up until this version all was running fine will try your alternate version and see how we go otherwise will have to revert back to 16.05 .

Found it - BBB is a beagleboard black -https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/BeagleBoard
It is a single core arm cortex 1ghz computer with support for 512md ram. I don't think this will support daphile, especially if you are processing DSD files!

Sleep function / plug-in ?
I am wondering if there is an adjustable sleep function available for Daphile.
It would be nice to have the player mute or stop after a desired time. 10, 15 30, 60, 90, 180, etc minutes of playing till the sound turns off.
I have searched the list of available plug-ins and didn't notice a plug-in that accomplishes this.
If there is no plug-in that performs as a sleep function I would like to make this a "feature request."

The above sub-thread was begun back in January but was never resolved (that I can find) .
I'm still having this problem - severe enough that I've had to stop my "rip all CD's to FLAC" project using Daphile. 95% + of my rip attempts result in missing metadata. The number of Tracks is reported correctly but nothing else. Basically a waste of time/effort for creating a master library 🙁.
I assume (?) the problem lies with Daphile's communication with the GraceNote DB. However I can't confirm this and there appears to be no 'setting,' or 'plug-in' that addresses this issue...
Help! Love the Daphile player but have to put the ripping issue to rest.
What am I missing????

Daphile + Aune S16 DSD dac?
I just finished installing Daphile and everything is working absolutely perfect right away. It is now hooked with usb to an old HRT Music Streamer II dac which I'm looking to replace. In my price range 500-800$ I found the Aune S16 DSD dac which seems to get great reviews.
Has anyone tried this with Daphile, will it work or are there any problems with this combo that you know of?

Never mind, I took a shot and ordered the Aune S16 anyway. Somehow it'll have to work. I'll post an update when I get it. 🙂
The s16 uses CMOS USB interface so you should have no difficulty connecting daohile. Enjoy!
An amp with no sound
Wow...just finished putting together my Daphile server with a new chassis and I received a brand new Aune S16 dac (looking awesome). Connected it all together with brand new Supra usb and xlr cables...
Linux is running...
Aune is running...
Hegel H200 amp...pressing on.... "POP" from the speakers...and no sound 😱
Trying the amp off/on again... "POP" again and no sound 😡
Disconnecting everything and trying Daphile with dac and a pair of headphones, no problem sound is ok. So I try different connections with amp, rca instead of xlr, connecting only an ipad...but no sound and it pops everytime I restart it...going nuts 😱. Disconnected everything and just left it there over night. This morning I connected the powercord and turned on the amp...NO pop, connected the ipad and we have music 😀
But I don't dare connecting the dac just yet. Do you have any idea of what might have caused this issue? 😕
