Agree LL 1684 is the best I have heard in my life. But I have some very bad Hum problems with it.

Have you connected the ground of transformer secondary to DAC analog ground ?

Some off the idea with transformers galvanic isolation will disappear.
The hum is loud.

I don't care about galvanic isolation if connecting grounds makes my speakers dead dead silent.

I started with Mundorf RXF. Was really bad . Then Black Gate AC 47 uf . To much upper bass. Now it is Jantzen Red 15 uf. The Jantzen is very good.

According to calculations, measurements and listening there is no need for more than 2u IMHO. Many times bigger than that kills speed, resolution and space, makes bass muddy, also adds colouration, at least in my system.

Yes but Black Gates do that even if they are smaller . It is the sound off Black Gate I think. I used 30 uf Mundorf RXF and it was not muddy.

After some listen test I and Quanghao have decided to change the diamond output buffer with a single ended dc coupled mosfet stage.
Using this new output stage we can get a very pure sound near to LL1684 stage.
This output stage has been configurated with high bias current to drive any headphone and any cable.
Test and measurements still in progress.

Thats no balanced output in that version then?

quanghao/Audiodesign : Do you also provide the LL1684??

I might change the output stage to LL1684 if you provide them... because I have no desire to use it on headphone...
