If anyone interrested I can solder and test a board for 50 euros (parts and postals delivries are yours). Simpliest is to ask indeed members that have several boards.
@diyiggy I am from Europe I will try to find someone from this continent which sells fully functional boards . Thank you for the suggestion .
@Vunce I wanted to say that I soldered the components to the board. I have never done any project, I just changed the electrolytic capacitors in an amplifier.
@StevenCrook I will do that .

I am in europe just in case. Anyway postal is working really good nowadays but some countries : Russia, North Corea, Syria maybe ! But look at the group buy section, I should have given ideas to some...
there are surface mounted components on the board, in case you are not aware. However, with some practice on a training board, you should be ok after that.@diyiggy I am from Europe I will try to find someone from this continent which sells fully functional boards . Thank you for the suggestion .

PSU 1 Eco
Minimalistic or Economic version of the PSU 1 for my AD1862 DACs (#2180, #2546).
With simple change of +-12 regulators to +-5V version it can be used with the AD1865 (#1431), PCM63P (#4167) or similiar DACs.
It is stackable with those DACs.
BOM example:

(non-stocked components can be available on tme.eu or from another trusted source)

@zoom777 I read it but it's too complicated for a novice. I was thinking of something simpler like a project or list sharing on DigiKey. 🙂
AD1862 DAC is available in 2 main versions:
a) #2180 universal compatible with any I2S source, like the USB-I2S or bluetooth-I2S, ... (the cheapest USB-I2S based on PCM2706 from aliexpress is good working https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000141799137.html )
b) #2546 stackable with jlsounds I2SoverUSB v.III
Power supply also in few versions:
a) #6025 the cheapest (compact size)
b) #1460 the same regulators, but with better filtration
c) #1549 best regulators but the most expensive
All 4.7uF audio grade nichicon capacitors have status "end of life", you need to find a replacement 🙁
what c13 to c16 only 220 uF ! 😉 👍
Hello, I will have a few pairs of AD1862N for sale soon.

I got a pair of LM6171 from Mouser and tried them in my line preamp built just for testing purposes (accepts single or dual DIP8 OPA). It does it nicely, but the OPA1611 produced a subjectively better sound, richer and more cheerful. The Burson V6 Classic single is of course even better. So my recommendation for Miro DACs budget variants is OPA1611 (on SOIC/DIP8 adapter of course).

So far, i consider burson v6c the best match for pcm63p dac. Sinergy it has with it is insanely good. Unlike v6v, which is way too sharp for my taste (nixie is comparing it to sparkos, but thats the one i haven't heard). Close second is newclassd opamp (which some may prefer), and considering it being bjt input, it does a good job. You can consider it 1611/1612 on steroids.

I notice you put my name on the first post, thank you for the shoutout! Unfortunately i discovered Rochester is now requiring the same business verification through Digikey that they do on direct sales. My first order attempt was rejected. Today i placed a second order after contacting digikey and setting up a business account. I am waiting for an email to confirm the order successful.
Hoping this works out, but if not, sorry to anyone who was looking forward to getting an 1862.
I will post an update to my GB post as soon as i know which way it breaks.
Thank you,
North
They want to sell chips by tons finally. Welcome at Roc-Easter....

I think this is actually an AD issue as much or more than Rochester. Rochester sales are limited by agreements struck with the chipmaker as part of handling end of life. Regardless, there is probably an angle for packaging kits that meets the rules but might require a large purchase and more commercial pricing than we've been used to here.
it's often average rules given by an administrative company guy not understanding the real business of his company when it comes to NLA parts (well ruling exceptions is expensive as well)! Proof is if you are a little working shop needing the MOQ, you can purchase it ! When rules are more stupids than reality (understand a stock a stock is more expensive in a TCO perspective, imho)

😀
PCM1702 unfortunately did not work instead of PCM63 in Miro DAC. I don't know why it happened, the chips are probably not good. Bought as new unused, but they don't have to be, they have ways to "refresh" them visually. PCM1702 tested by @djmilicic.
Risk of buying on ebay, almost everything I have bought has been good, but this is not. It is very carefully soldered and inspected. So I certainly did not overheat it, and I guarantee the quality of the soldering.
