Nice work, what is the rail voltage?
Regards
Nice!
Can you post what schematic and pcb has been used?
My first attempt in class D.
Apex D200.
I have IXGR60N60C2D1 IGBT supose that is suitable for this.
Also i haven't 74HC00 but i have 74LS00.
Any problem Mile?
Yes there will be problem, you must use IRF640N and 74HC00.
Regards
Ok,thanks Mile i will try to find those.Yes there will be problem, you must use IRF640N and 74HC00.

No
Why not?
In first try i see the 1KHz square waves in positions where the red arrows.
When power mosfets are in circuit all these are about 250 KHz.
A lot of coils was tried but all comes very hot and smell.
Finally 10 turns on a ETD29 with gap was the magic solution!
No heat ,no smell!
The last two photos ,the temperature on the LP filter coil, and fet after one hour of playing!
Power supply +/-42V

Nice work, is it test with speaker and audio signal?
Yes of course.Nice work, is it test with speaker and audio signal?
I'm impressed from sound quality for a such simple, rediculas cheap, amplifier!
